Jim Hamilton Sr.

Tonight kicks off our volleyball season at 7:00 PM over at Saint Christopher's!
This season is a bittersweet one for me, as the last of my three children begins her volleyball journey. And my Oldest will be helping coach this year .
It's hard to believe how quickly the years have gone by.
What makes it even more special is that this program was started by my dad and Joan long before I was even old enough to play. Through the years, they have dedicated countless hours to giving kids a place to learn, grow, compete, and build friendships.
And the amazing part? They're still at it.
A huge thank you to both of you for your dedication, commitment, and the impact you've had on so many young athletes and families over the years. The memories, traditions, and opportunities you've created will last far beyond the volleyball court.
Here's to another great season—and to the people who made it all possible. 🏐❤️ we hope you can join us and cheer us on 📣
Go team ! 2026

I'd like to ask everyone to keep Saint Christopher Parish and its parishioners in your thoughts and prayers.
This summer, Saint Christopher's will be closing its doors and merging with another parish. While we are grateful that they have generously allowed us to continue using their volleyball court through July, and all these years we recognize that this is a difficult and emotional time for many families who have called Saint Christopher's their spiritual home for generations.
A church is more than just a building—it's a

it's a place where people were baptized, received their sacraments, celebrated weddings, mourned loved ones, and built a community of faith.
Please join us in praying for the parishioners of Saint Christopher's as they navigate this transition, cherish the memories made there, and begin a new chapter in their faith journey.
God bless Saint Christopher Parish and all those whose lives it has touched. ❤️🙏

Happy Monday! Sometimes we overcomplicate what God asks of us, but the prophet Micah simplifies it into three magnificent actions.

⚖️ Do Justice. ❤️ Love Goodness. 👣 Walk Humbly.

These are not abstract concepts, but daily choices that shape our character. Whether you are leading your family, working for change in your community, or striving for personal holiness, God’s requirement is always about how we treat our neighbor and how we walk with Him.

❓ Question for the week: Thinking about your week ahead, which of these three requirements—doing justice, loving goodness, or walking humbly—is the most necessary focus for your actions each day? How might you ask God for the specific grace you need to achieve it? 🙏🏼

On the Occasion of the U.S. Bishops Consecrating the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

O Most Sacred Heart of Jesus:
You know the longings of our hearts, and you desire that we enjoy friendship with you.
From your pierced side, you have poured out the wellspring of life, for which we thirst.
Your heart burns with a love for all people to return to a right relationship with you.
We celebrate the abundant gifts you have given this nation, founded on the self-evident truths that our Creator has endowed all people with the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
We make reparation for the offenses against you and against human dignity that have taken place in this nation.
May our hearts be united to yours, so that our families and communities enjoy peace and happiness; may broken relationships be reconciled, injustices repaired, and the wounds of our land be healed.
May your holy Catholic Church serve as a sign, pointing all people to your infinite love.
O Desire of Nations and Center of History, we ask you to bless these United States of America.
Who live and reign with God the Father
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

This week, we honor the beloved wonder-worker, Saint Anthony of Padua!

More than the great finder of lost things, St. Anthony was a brilliant Franciscan preacher whose eloquent sermons were known for their profound spiritual impact. He earned the title "Hammer of Heretics" by insisting that faith isn't just felt, it's lived out. His life was a vibrant example of humility and devotion to the poor.

Let us pray through his intercession for the grace to live our faith boldly and for his help in finding what is lost. 🙏🏼
