Prayer for the Spirit of Evangelization and Parish Growth

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of Our Saviour’s Parish, a home for Your children and a beacon of Your love. We ask You now to pour out Your Holy Spirit upon each parishioner, filling our hearts with zeal, courage, and compassion to share the Good News.
Lord Jesus, guide us to be witnesses of Your mercy and grace, that through our words and deeds, others may come to know You and experience Your love. Inspire in us a joyful spirit of evangelization, that we may reach out with patience, understanding, and bold faith to all in our community.
Bless our parish, O Lord, that it may grow in faith, hope, and charity. Strengthen our ministries, our families, and all who serve, so that Our Saviour’s Parish may shine ever more brightly as a sign of Your Kingdom on earth.
Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the saints, may we be faithful instruments of Your love, and may countless hearts be drawn closer to You through our witness.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

We are in need of Easter basket items for about 85–90 children and young adults from 2 Family shelters in the area. If you would like to donate, please stop by the rectory or at the church after Holy Mass on Sunday at 10:30 AM. The Easter baskets will be assembled on Sunday, March 15, and the following Sunday, March 22, 2026. If you would like to help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

“Elves for Elders” Blanket Donations. We are also collecting blankets for senior citizens in need in the Woonsocket and North Smithfield area, especially those living alone or in nursing homes. Blankets may be new or gently used, but they must be clean and in good condition. Thank you for your generosity!

Prayer on the Solemnity of the Institution
of the Polish National Catholic Church
(1897-2026)

Almighty and merciful God, You called a humble priest,
Father Francis Hodur to be Your servant and to awaken Your
people for work in Your vineyard.
Grant that, as we observe the anniversary of Your call to
us, our faith may be made firm and our hearts may be enkin
dled by the fire of sacrificial love.
We ask this in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, Who
lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever
and ever. Amen.

Prayer for being “rooted in Jesus”

Jesus Christ, the true vine,
in our need we come to You,
in weakness,
needing Your strength
for we too easily become dry and lifeless
without Your life-giving spirit.
Jesus Christ, the true vine,
teach us to remain in You

and so to find Your life flowing in us
giving strength and vigor to our discipleship. Amen.

Prayers for this Sunday

Eternal God, Your Son was glorified on earth together with You, with the glory which He had with You before the world was. I thank You for sending Your only begotten Son so that we could all be saved and so that we could have an example on how to live on earth. so during this Sunday, I thank You for the glorification of Your Son and the power that was made known in Him, because I believe that we too can experience Your power here on earth, Amen.

Great God of overshadowing majesty, in Jesus Christ, your beloved Son, we glimpse the image of your glory. Teach us to listen to Him so that we may hear your voice and follow Your holy way; through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

Lord God,
you who breathed the spirit of life within me.
Draw out of me the light and life you created.
Help me to find my way back to you.
Help me to use my life to reflect your glory
and to serve others
as your son Jesus did.
