Attention, ladies!!! This Tuesday, June 9th!!!

Take a break from the morning rush and enjoy a little time to connect. You are invited to stop by the Coffeehouse at The Well for breakfast pastries, conversation, and handcrafted coffee served by a local coffee truck. Whether you’re coming before work, bringing the kids, or simply stopping in to say hello, we’d love to see you. No RSVP! Just come on over to The Venue foyer.

Women (ages college and up) are invited to dive into a good book, then gather in a small group to discuss what God is teaching you. Book club is free, but we do ask that you purchase your own book.

Today, we are highlighting a faithful servant: Michelle Ruddell!

Q: How has leading a women’s life group blessed you?

Michelle: I am blessed by the community that it provides. Not only do we have some thought-provoking discussion over Scripture on Sunday mornings, but we share struggles and celebrations. We pray for each other. We encourage each other. We have a group text to stay in touch during the week. I am blessed by the friendship of these women.

How has leading a Life Group blessed you?

Nelwyn: It’s a long list! I have been blessed to do what I love... teach women! I admit that. But I learned years ago I was likely to burn out if I tried to ‘do it all’... so I am blessed to have a co teacher.... Sherron Boyd. We are a great team, and we steer the class together. We are joined and blessed that we have a group of women who share their gifts to nurture and shepherd our large group. It is a blessing to see women come week after week to hear the Word taught. It is a blessing to watch the group grow but also many change... having the joy of serving. It blesses my soul to hear the women talk about their work at Gospel Cafe. It is a blessing to hear the Life Group refer to our group as.... ‘this is my family.’ It blesses me to see to women invite their friends to Life Group. It is a blessing to see women grow in their faith and in their love and need for prayer. It blesses me to see the women plan fellowships to be together. As new women come to visit our Life Group the thing they notice is how we love each other. That blesses me. Leading a Life Group has provided me with some of my best friends. I am so thankful God led me to teach and lead a Life Group. It is one of my greatest blessings.
