sorry this was from 2 weeks ago!!
Your tongue will tell on you
Matthew 12:34
No where in the Bible does God tell me I have to trust you.
Just like when Jesus forgave me of my sin, forgiveness is an act of grace. So yes I must show the same grace. And as a matter of fact, trust is earned. Not only with God but with people too.
You say well how do you know that trust is earned? Because it is earn through repeated reality. So what is a repeated reality? Whatever repeated reality you have shown me, you have taught me to trust your actions as they are the true reality.
Of what? Of you!
If you repeatedly lied to me, you have taught me to believe you're a liar, and this goes for any type of sinful behavior. If you repeatedly use bad language, or repeatedly act out in bad behavior of any kind you have taught me to believe that is who you are. Paul says it this way in Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, 21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Look at how Jesus describes it in Matthew 7:15-16 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits.
Now you say well you are out of line, I say don't get mad at me, you told me that is who you are, you showed me that is who you are, and as a matter of fact trained me by the repeated reality of your words and actions.
If you constantly let people down, you have trained them to not trust you because you will let me down. And you wonder why those that are around you are saying I'm can’t lean on them.
Should I not be shocked that most or all of the church would raise their hand to say you have been through this before?
OK, so the word says that I have to forgive you. It say Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
The Bible says there's a torment to unforgiveness that I bring on myself. The heart of a man cannot hold all that stuff in, so the forgiveness is to not get bogged down with the load of all that junk.
Did you know that when you forgive someone, the forgiveness is a gift back to you. I forget and carry all that junk around when the forgiveness was a gift to me. Amen. When you forgive it does not take away all of the junk because it will always be there but man does it open you up to receive a little joy.
I forgive you but for some reason you cannot see why no one trust you and here you come back and say well I thought you forgave me, well. I did forgive you as the Bible says in Matthew 18 that I must forgive my brother 70 x 7.
Now, for you Christians that are continuing to submit yourselves to abuse behavior, language and attitudes, whether it be physical, spiritual, mental, or emotional what are we doing?
Are you just hoping and praying that the person or persons that are treating us the same way the devil would treat us is going to change? Well, anything is possible with God.
But I am here to tell you that these things that the devil uses people and thing to infect you with are nothing more than stumbling blocks and roadblocks for the children of God to distract you and keep you from the things that God has for you.
It is time to take Jesus at His word in Matthew 10:14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.,
It is time to shake off the shackles that hold you down.
So, what does that mean? It means that although I have forgiven you the way the Lord says that we are to, I have no desire to drudge through what it would take to be your friend because you refuse to let go of your sin and you refuse to let go of the world!!!
The time to turn from you sin and rejoin the flock is now!!
