Hello church: An Unforgettable Gift! This week in our tidbits of righteousness, we can see a principle from God’s precious Word on how to give - Sam wanted to surprise his mother & sisters this Christmas morning with hot tea and toast with jam. Rations and money were short since his papa died 6 months before. And the coal was almost gone. Sam prayed, “God, what are we going to do?” Sam pleaded as he filled the kettle and the cold wind snapped at his legs through the cracks of the wooden house. Suddenly a clatter in the backyard caught his attention. 2 men were dumping coal into the coal bin. Sam ran out to stop them. He was certain they had the wrong house. “No mistake,” said the driver when Sam protested. “I got the address right here on this paper. It’s a gift, son, though I swore I wouldn’t tell who it’s from. Be thankful and don’t ask no more questions,” the man said. Tidbit - when you think you’re out of options, listen and watch. God may have an unexpected gift for you, too. His kindness cannot be matched. (Read Psalm 112:9) Have a blessed week in the Lord, thank you 🙏🏼

On October 20th at 4pm Faith Bible Church (off of Rt 171 in Woodstock Ct) is hosting an OPEN HOUSE! Throughout the night we will

* Introduce young families to our nursery and junior church program
* Meet new face interested in joining our worship team
* Come together as a community

There will be a spaghetti dinner and movie to end the evening!

The women of Faith Bible Church will come together Tuesday morning at 9:30. This is a time to strengthen our faith, encourage each other, and see how God is working in our lives!
