You may not be boarding a plane this week, but you can live sent today:
• Pray for a people group
• Encourage a missionary
• Share the gospel with someone near you
• Give sacrificially to advance the mission
• Go when God opens the door

“Every disciple has a part to play in taking the gospel to every nation.”

Helping people find and follow Jesus from Woodstock to the world isn’t just a vision statement—it’s a way of life.
And it starts right here, right around us.

Every Saturday since 1991, groups from Woodstock have driven into Atlanta to serve the growing number of men and women facing homelessness. Today, more than 3,700 people in Atlanta experience homelessness on any given night, and over 40% of them are living without shelter. Behind every statistic is a person with a name, a story, and deep worth in the eyes of God.

Church on the Street is one of the most consistent local opportunities we have to bring hope, care, prayer, and the Gospel to our neighbors. Rain or shine, we show up—and Jesus meets us there.

📍 Church on the Street Details:
• Teams serve every Saturday — rain or shine
• Meet between Buildings A & B on the FBCW campus at 9:45 AM
• Vans depart at 10:00 AM and return around 2:00 PM
• Dress for the weather
• Leave valuables at home
• Always check with the leader before giving money
• Food and water are handed out weekly
• Donations welcomed: socks, underwear, coats, and warm clothing

Lives are being touched. Encouragement is being given. Prayers are being lifted. And the Gospel is being shared—one conversation, one meal, one act of love at a time.

You can make a difference this week.
If you’ve been wanting to serve locally—or take a step toward living on mission—this is a great place to start.

Two weeks ago, we gathered for our Global Mission Sunday Project Info Meeting—and what an incredible day it was!

We are deeply excited about the mission opportunities God has opened for 2026. From supporting long-standing partners to stepping into new regions, we believe this upcoming year will be filled with stories of gospel impact, transformed lives, and God’s faithfulness on display.

What encourages us most? Watching people put their “yes” on the table—choosing to go, serve, love, and proclaim Jesus to the ends of the earth. God does unmatched work in the hearts of those who are willing to trust Him and step out.

Disaster Relief Volunteer Opportunities:
1-Asheville, NC December 29- January 3, 2025. We will be working with Samaritan's Purse assisting with cleanup and distributing supplies to victims of Hurricane Helene in Buncombe County, NC. We have 5 openings for males 18 and over.
2- Valdosta, GA January 16-22, 2025. Mostly tree and debris removal.
