Join us this Sunday at Woodstock United Methodist Church as we gather for worship and reflect on God's amazing gift of grace.

This week's message, "Peace with God," from Romans 5:1-8, reminds us that our hope is not based on our own strength, but on God's love revealed through Jesus Christ.

"But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us." — Romans 5:8

Through worship, prayer, music, and fellowship, we will celebrate the peace, hope, and assurance we have through Christ.

Sermon: "Law and Grace"
Welcome this Second Sunday after Pentecost. A time that is more than just ordinary. We call this time ordinary time in the church, but ordinary time is a time when the Holy Spirit is alive in everything. Especially, the life we live and share with others. May your day be full and blessed with the Holy Spirit

The Bread of Life Food Pantry is excited to announce that it has been awarded a $3,400 Nourishing Our Neighbors grant from the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation.

This funding will helps to continue providing food assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardship throughout Shenandoah County and surrounding communities.

For more than 35 years, Bread of Life Food Pantry has served our neighbors in need, and the demand for assistance continues to grow. In May alone, our volunteers distributed 7,609 pounds of food and hygiene products and that number continues to rise each month.

Food insecurity is a reality for many families in our community. Donations and grants like this help us purchase a wider variety of nutritious foods and continue providing support to those who need it most.

We are thankful to the Food Lion Feeds Charitable Foundation for their commitment to fighting hunger and for investing in local organizations making a difference. We are also grateful for our volunteers, donors, churches, businesses, and community partners whose support makes this ministry possible every month.

Together, we are helping ensure that our neighbors have access to the food they need.

The Bread of Life Food Pantry is thankful to share that during the month of May, 7,609 lbs. of food and hygiene products were distributed to 126 families in need throughout our community — helping a total of 402 individuals, including 104 children. We also welcomed approximately 17 new families to BOLFP this month.

Each month, our volunteers and community partners work together to help address food insecurity in Shenandoah County. Thank you to everyone who gives their time, donations, and support to help make this possible.

We would also like to thank the Woodstock Post Office and everyone who contributed to their recent food drive, which collected 1,524 lbs. of food for our pantry clients.
