💙 Walk for Life 2026 💙

Laura Wurzer is once again serving as the Walk Captain for Woodstock United Methodist Church in support of the Shenandoah County Pregnancy Center’s Walk for Life!

Donations help the Pregnancy Center provide compassionate, Gospel-centered pregnancy and parenting support, educational resources, material assistance, and support groups to families in our community.

Woodstock UMC is proud to offer a Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED Training Class to the community! Space is limited, so please reach out as soon as possible to grab a spot.

Training details:

Saturday, September 12, 2026
9:00 AM–12:15 PM, there will be a 15-minute break
Woodstock United Methodist Church Social Hall

Cost: $169 per participant, due the morning of the class.

This blended-learning course prepares participants to respond confidently to:
Adult and pediatric cardiac and breathing emergencies
Injuries and sudden illnesses
Seizures and strokes
Allergic reactions and anaphylaxis
Poisoning and diabetic emergencies
Opioid emergencies and naloxone administration
Epinephrine administration
Proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)

Successful participants will receive:
* A two-year American Red Cross certification
* Free digital training materials
* A digital certificate following successful completion of the course

We would love to have members of our neighboring churches join us for this valuable training opportunity.
