Jesus was never just calling people to admire Him — He was calling them to follow Him.

The man in Matthew 8 wanted to delay obedience until it was convenient.
The rich young ruler in Matthew 19 wanted eternal life without surrender.

Both heard Jesus clearly.
Both struggled with what following Him would cost.

Delayed obedience is still disobedience.
And anything we refuse to let go of can become the very thing keeping us from fully following Christ.

Sometimes the issue isn’t that God is silent — it’s that obedience is costly.

We want the miracle, but not the surrender.
We want direction, but not sacrifice.
We want Jesus close… until He asks us to let go of what we love most.

You’re not struggling to hear from God.
You’re struggling to obey.”

A reminder that things are indeed okay, God sees and hears your prayers, everything will workout for your good, the pruning now is for a bountiful harvest in the future. 🙌🏾

Don’t you grow weary. Stay steadfast and endure. Don’t quit. You do matter and what you’ve done has purpose. 💙

Don’t grow weary in doing good—because what you do matters, even when you can’t see it yet. 🌱

Every quiet act of obedience, every prayer whispered in faith, every moment you choose kindness over convenience… it’s all seed. And God never wastes a seed.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us that in due season, we will reap a harvest if we don’t give up.

So keep showing up. You are sent.
