Thank you for praying for our men's outreach event. We are deeply grateful for your prayers and for each young man who attended.
Please pray that the seeds planted this weekend will remain.
Pray that the men who made decisions to follow Jesus will be deeply rooted in Christ.

The next step: Two new men's Bible studies will begin in the community next week! Pray that the men will make discipleship a priority.

A little throwback to a very special day in July!
We brought together our Bible study students from 4 different high schools for a day filled with God’s Word, games, laughter, and a delicious Kentucky Fried Chicken lunch!
It was such a joy seeing the students from different schools come together, build friendships, and enjoy a day of fellowship.

We’re so grateful for every opportunity to invest in these young lives and point them to Jesus.

On Friday, August 21st, Hope2Africa will host a men's weekend focused on reaching young men in their 20s from local Zulu communities.

Please pray:
• Many will hear and respond to the Gospel.
• Our Hope2Africa staff will have boldness, wisdom, and discernment as they share God's Word and build relationships throughout the weekend.
• God will use this time to begin lasting transformation in the lives of these men, their families, and their communities.

“The Lord said to Abram: Go from your land, your relatives, and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, I will bless you, I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.”

When God told Abraham to go, He didn’t lay out a road map. He just said “Go”.

19 years ago God said to me, “Now go teach the Africans to do this.”. He didn’t give me details, or a step by step list. He just wanted my “yes”. I had no idea how it would play out, I just had a passion to tell these dear people who were living in such great poverty that Jesus loved them. That was it. God put that passion in my heart, He knew exactly where this would go, how it would happen (the difficult and the beyond my wildest dreams good). Yes He used me to start and lead it, but He is the one who made it happen, gave the vision, and gave direction. He created, He blessed. He brought the amazing people who daily serve in Hope2Africa in both South Africa and the US. He has grown our ministry to something so much bigger than I could have ever imagined.

As I sit here this morning in the quiet and think back over the past 19 years, I see His Hand, His power, His kindness, His generosity and His holding me and strengthening me through the deepest and most difficult valleys of my life. (Even then, Hope2Africa helped carry me after David’s death).

He is indeed faithful.
