We have found a project in the Eastman cemetery that I’m so excited about.

This tablet was half way in the ground and the base was completely covered. We dug It up last night-the tablet part has been broken for years and we won’t be able to change what has already tried to be fixed..but the exciting part is we will be able to read the entire stone AND the carvers initials who carved the stone.

This little boys name is Archie Mixer-his mother was Annie Eastman, who was the son of George Eastman. Little Archie died of diphtheria at the age of 5 in 1881.

We want to thank the Sellers for the last several years of mowing the cemetery lawn. They did a great job! This year we will be doing it ourselves and will need a new lawn mower. Preferably like the one pictured below. This style makes it a lot easier. It will need a bag though. That being said we are going to need more donations than usual this year or someone to donate a mower. Donations can be made with Venmo -Cemetery
