There is something that shifts when we choose to go beyond what is simply required of us. Not out of obligation, not to be noticed, but because the need is there and we have something to give.

Go the extra mile when needed, for there are blessings unto those who do more than expected and more than required.

When we truly seek to fulfill the need of another, not just meet the minimum but genuinely serve, God sees it. He sees the heart behind the action, the love that motivated it, and the sacrifice it cost. And His heart of goodness responds to our heart of goodness.

The key is that the extra mile is walked without expectation of return. God gives freely, and we are called to do the same. But that does not mean our generosity goes unnoticed. The Lord sees every quiet act of kindness, every moment we chose to give more than was asked, and He blesses accordingly.

Go the extra mile. Not for recognition, but because it is right and because love gives freely. And trust that the God who sees in secret rewards openly.

To every mother, grandmother, and woman who has poured love, faith, and strength into the lives of those around her, Happy Mother's Day.

The love of a mother reflects something of the heart of God Himself, a love that is patient, sacrificial, and unwavering. We are grateful for the women who shape hearts, build faith, and lead by example in their homes and in this church family.

To those who are celebrating today and to those who are holding a tender place in their heart for a mother they have lost or a child they have grieved, may God's comfort and love be felt in a special way today.

May He bless you richly today and always.

"Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness." — Proverbs 31:25-26

Our place of worship is important for we need to gather with others who are of a like mind to give power to our worship, fellowship, and communion with the Lord. Being in the presence of the Lord and being surrounded by people who serve Him is crucial to the foundation of faith in our lives.

"These are words for my flock, words to help you to grow in the power of acceptance. To grow in surrender, which will give power to trust, faith and obedience, you must first come to the place of acceptance.

The children of Israel accepted the freedom that was given unto them. They accepted Moses as my chosen leader and they submitted themselves under his mantle of authority. The people had to come to the place where they accepted my call unto them to go into the wilderness.

They answered our call and left Egypt with great joy. You know of their struggles with trust, faith and surrender. Do you accept my call and are you willing to obey my voice?

So many accept my mercy and my atoning blood but they do not accept my Lordship. It was our hope and desire that the wilderness road would have led our people to repentance and surrender.

We gave them the divine law through Moses when he was upon the mountain, law to guide and to govern them as a nation, and law to make them holy in their actions unto us and unto man.

The law was given and the people were asked to accept our law and to accept our Lordship. The people accepted and stated that they would walk in the ways of heaven and that they would obey the law given unto them.

Our law is for all men, but all men must also reach the place of acceptance. Before you can be truly free you must accept our Lordship and commit your heart unto obedience. The freedom of obedience will not come without acceptance which leads to surrender and trust.

Without the power of acceptance there is no covenant between us. We accept your words of obedience as you accept our sure promises. The children of Israel accepted our calling and they accepted our promised destiny.

Their acceptance did not lead them unto the freedom of obedience for they never reached a deep repentance that brought forth lasting change. My people, each of you has been called by name and each of you has a destiny that was placed within.

You must accept my call, you must accept your destiny, you must accept that my love and will is always perfect, and you must accept my Lordship. The “Yes Lord” response is acceptance of my word unto you, and then obeying my word is the action to bring forth the freedom of obedience.

Learn the power of acceptance, surrender all unto me and trust that I am the Good Shepherd that shall lead you unto the land of promise." -Jesus

We are to seek our words and actions to be acceptable to the Lord and this requires focus in our thoughts, purity in our words, and purpose in our actions. Our words and actions may not always be perfect but we must strive to be kind and loving in our words and actions.

Two little ones were lifted up in prayer at our last prayer meeting. A baby facing ongoing health challenges had a procedure go well and is now gaining weight.

A young child battling a form of Lyme disease that was affecting her behavior and motor function is doing much better.

God is moving. Week after week, need after need, He is hearing and answering.
If you have a need, or someone you love needs prayer, come bring it before the Lord with us this Friday.

Isaiah 25:1, “O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you, I will praise your name; for you have done wonderful things; your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.”

Our exaltation of the Lord is not a faint whisper but a joyful proclamation of the Lord’s glory and greatness. To praise the Lord and to exalt the Lord requires active faith and active worship for there is nothing passive in exaltation of the Lord.
