Good morning, everybody happy sunday. Just wanted to inform you that the knights of columbus are back at Jewel Osco today from 9am until 5pm collecting money for Intellectual Disabilities. This afternoon, if you were in the area, please stop by see one of our handsome faces, get a Tootsie Roll for the kids orr for yourself. If you cannot make it out, I have attached a picture of a barcode that you can copy & if you feel like making a donation, that would be great too. Thank you so much for your love and support. Today we are in front of Jewel Osco on 75th in Janes ave in Woodridge collecting money for people with Intellectual Disabilities. Pope Leo XIV appoints Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly to Vatican Dicastery.

Congratulations to the Knights of Columbus and to Patrick Kelly on this well-deserved honor. Vivat Jesus!

Pope Leo XIV appointed Supreme Knight Patrick Kelly as a member of the Vatican’s Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life on Aug. 25.

Established in 2016 by Pope Francis, the dicastery promotes the vocation and mission of the lay faithful, the pastoral care of young people, the family and the elderly, and the protection of human life. Its responsibilities also include organizing World Youth Days and support for lay movements and associations throughout the Church. The dicastery is headed by Cardinal Kevin J. Farrell, a former state chaplain of Texas.

Yesterday, the Woodridge Knights of Columbus Council #5918 undertook one of our many service programs, helping out at the West Suburban Community Food Pantry in Woodridge, IL. It is our honor to help them out, as they definitely help out those in need during difficult times. God Bless them and thanks for all of the people and businesses that donate food to help the less fortunate! Vivat Jesus!
