Message from Pastor Kaye Fry on this cold, wintry weather day...

Our scripture today is Matthew 4:12-23. Jesus is beginning his ministry and calling the fisherman, Simon Peter, Andrew, James, and John to follow him-to become fishers of man-humans. I encourage you to read and meditate on this scripture today and throughout this week. Where are you in the story?

On this icy day, you may wonder how you can share your faith, since like me you are most assuredly not driving anywhere to encounter anyone.
First, I encourage you to pray for others.
Secondly, call and check on family, friends and neighbors to make sure they are ok, to offer prayer, encouragement or assistance.

We are called to love God and neighbor and we do this as best we can, wherever we are or the circumstances in which we find ourselves.

You are in my prayers. Be safe!
