Sermon: Guest Speaker Nathan Collins
Scripture: Mark 8:34-35
Sermon Topic: Surrender is a word most of us wouldn’t touch with a tenfoot
pole. However, it is at the heart of our Triune God and therefore key
to experiencing the fullness of God’s joy, love, and identity. In a world
obsessed with finding their true self, scripture teaches that if one wishes
to find it, they need to lose their self, It is only when one is lost in Christ
that one finds out who they really are. This Sunday, we will explore this
paradox of suffering and joy as well as the milestones we need to move
toward on the Good Shepherd’s path of surrender
