A heartfelt thank you to all our generous sponsors for making the IAM Family Christmas Party 2025 a joyful and memorable day for our children in Wabinyira Village.
Your kindness made it possible to share a special Christmas meal, bringing smiles, hope, and love to every child.
“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done.”
# Proverbs 19:17.
One meal. One smile. One blessed Christmas.

in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It's easier to complain.
It's easier to grumble.
It's easier to murmur.
It's a sacrifice to be thankful.
It's a sacrifice to see what God has done.
It's a sacrifice to keep an attitude of gratitude.
_________
It's hard to be entitled when you are thankful.
It's hard to be negative when you are thankful.
It's hard to remain the same when you are thankful.
Giving thanks is a sacrifice that honors God.
—————
May we focus on what God has done instead of what He hasn't done.
May we focus on the manna in this season instead of remembering cucumbers from Egypt.

May we bless the Lord in every season.

Happy Thanksgiving America 🇺🇸

Aaron Nsamba
5 years old, middle class
https://iamfamily.org/donations/nsamba-aaron/

Aaron is a student of I AM Academy that I have traveled the farthest to visit in his home, living three villages away from Wabinyira and school. At 5 years old Aaron is not walking to school, but rides with his sister and several others from the village on the back of a motorcycle every day for his lessons. He stays with his grandparents and mother, along with 9 siblings and cousins. Even though his father has abandoned them, the family is farming and doing what they can to support themselves. Their family grows beans, maize, and bananas. A new addition to the farm are two young calfs born from their cow which is a huge blessing as it will provide money from the cows and milk for the kids for quite some time. Aaron spends his afternoons after school resting and playing around the house or doing small tasks for his elderly grandparents. He is quite a confident young man at home and at school, he loves his teacher, Teacher Diana, and is confidently trying out all of his letters, even spelling many English words!

Eden Kitibwa
10 years old, p.3

https://iamfamily.org/donations/eden-kitibwa/

Eden walks about 2 miles or more to and from school every day along with her 5 brothers and sisters. She lives in a village where many other children attend IAM Academy and is just thankful to be within walking distance of a good school where she will excel. During the dry season she also spends a good amount of time walking a long distance to the borehole for water so this hard life has made young lady is fit! She enjoys playing net ball at school every chance she gets and is very active in class participation.
Eden is raised by her grandmother. Her parents are unable to support their children and do not have any plans to be reunited with the kids so here in the village they will remain until they are grown. To earn a living Eden’s grandmother farms the land around her for food for their family as well as makes a local brew and sells it from their home. This means that Eden and her siblings lives are effected greatly by many things outside of their control; between being abandoned, weather affecting the crops, and all sorts of villagers frequenting their home for grandmothers brew, Eden finds comfort in the hours spent at school where she is safe, fed, and loved by her teachers and classmates. Her love for school shows up as she succeeds in all of her classes.
The opportunity for her education is a life changer for this her and she hopes to someday have a family of her own that she will cherish. She is on her way to big accomplishments!

Ibrahim Mbogo
10 years old, p.3

https://iamfamily.org/donations/ibrahim-mbago/

Ibrahim is the the 3rd child of 6 living quite a distance from school with his mother and father. Though they are farmers and grow some things around the home, the land they have for farming their cash crop is quite far from home, so Ibrahim’s mother and father take turns being away from the children to work on the farm, never leaving either the children or work unattended. There is a culture of excellence in their home as a bookshelf proudly holds all of the study work from Ibrahim’s older siblings schoolwork and represent all of the hours put into his accomplishments. While helping around the house after school Ibrahim also gets a chance to learn skills from his parents by learning to harvest and make cooking oil from their own palm trees as well as other farming skills along side his siblings. One of the more simple joys he has is the ability to ride a bike and enjoys riding around the neighborhood with his friends in the evenings.
