Pam Brooks
✨️How are you plugged in and serving at The Branch? I am on the Women's Ministry Team and I take care of the Meal Train. I am honored to help set up meals for those who are in need of help. We are so blessed as we bless others.
✨️Are there any other ministries you’re part of right now? I attend House Church—we have such a great time. I am also a greeter on Sunday mornings and love to love on each person walking in the door. I also attend women's Bible study, which is amazing!
✨️What’s your go-to Bible verse, and why does it stick with you? My go-to Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11: "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." This has been my go-to verse for many years. It reminds me that God has always had a plan for me, even before I was born. And it has always been a good plan. This verse has given me hope, even in the trials of my life.
✨️What’s a fun or unexpected fact about you that most of our church family might not know? I was a labor and delivery nurse for 19 years. I always said that I would go to work and get paid for helping with God's miracles. And boy, do I love babies!
✨️If you were chatting with someone visiting The Branch for the first time, what’s one thing you’d want them to know about our community? I would want them to know that our community is like nothing they have ever been a part of. I would tell them that they will never have to do life alone—whether it is a good journey or a hard journey. Someone is ready to walk that journey with you.

Save the date: Another Worship in the Park is happening this
month! 🙌🌿
Come on Sunday, August 23rd for a morning of community and time together outdoors. We’d love for you to be part of it! We'll gather at 10AM outside the Pavilion at Memorial Park (200 N. Park Street). Be sure to bring a lawn chair and something for sun protection so you can stay comfortable. After the service, we'll enjoy a potluck lunch together, so feel free to bring a dish to share if you'd like. Come as you are, invite a friend and enjoy a morning centered on God's grace. We can't wait to see you there – Everyone’s welcome!

Hey Branch Family! Merit Academy wants your help this Saturday, August 8th from 8-11 a.m. They are getting ready to start school, and the building and grounds need sprucing up before students return.

Let's show them our love and support. They need folks to:

Fix potholes, mow the grass, w**d eat, paint, pick up trash, and dig up dead bushes.
