It is with a profound sense of sorrow and a heavy heart that I must share news of a deep loss within our faith community. Our beloved parishioner, Michele Lazor, has returned to the embrace of our Heavenly Father.

On behalf of the entire parish family, I extend our deepest, most heartfelt condolences to her husband, Edward, her cherished children, Meghan and Michael, and to all of her extended family, relatives, and friends. We weep alongside you in this time of immense grief.
Michele was a pillar of devotion at Holy Cross Church. For many years, she poured her heart and soul into our community as a School of Christian Living teacher. She possessed a rare and beautiful gift—not only inspiring countless children with her faithful guidance, but also bringing joy, laughter, and light to our community through her vibrant spirit. Her absence leaves a profound void in our hearts, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
As we mourn the loss of a remarkable woman, let us gather in prayer. May the Lord grant Edward, Meghan, Michael, and their loved ones supernatural strength, comfort, and peace during this time of overwhelming sorrow. May she rest in peace. - Fr. Joseph

Happy 😇Sunday June 7, 2026 / SOLEMNITY OF CORPUS CHRISTI / Join us for Mass at 9 am or 11 am / Sunday School AWARDS at the end of 11 am / All Are Welcome!

"Just as the living Father sent me and I have life because of the Father,
so also the one who feeds on me will have life." J 6:57
INTRODUCTION
Brothers and sisters, today we celebrate in a special way the gift of the Eucharist: the gift of Jesus present in bread and wine; the gift of Jesus, present in word and sacrament; the gift of Jesus present in our midst. Consequently, we celebrate the fact that we are one body in Christ.
Scripture readings:
Deuteronomy 8:2-3, 14b-16a God fed them with manna in the desert.
Psalm 147:12-15, 19-20 Praise the Lord, Jerusalem!
1 Cor 10:16-17 We, though many, are one and partake of one bread.
John 6:51-58 I am the living bread that comes down from heaven

FYI - Please be advised that professional maintenance was successfully completed on all six air conditioning units today, June 6, 2026. The scope of work included a comprehensive deep cleaning and a Freon level inspection. The total cost for this service was $1,680. May the Lord abundantly reward everyone for the donations that help defray the maintenance and upgrade costs of our church complex.

Join us meet the Risen Lord again in our parish assembly listening to the Word of God and receiving his presence in the Holy Eucharist. Let us also come together on Sunday to seek God’s blessings for ourselves, our families, our community, and the world— especially praying for peace.
