Some Services at Holy Cross Church:
· You can request Mass intention for deceased, blessing on Birthday anniversary, Marriage anniversary, and for a good health and healing
· Masses on Sunday are celebrated in English. During the weekday you can request Mass in English, Polish or French
· You can Schedule baptism for a child or preparation for Baptism for an adult
· Sign up child for First Holy Communion (2nd grade and older)
· Sigh up youth for Confirmation (7th grade and older)
· Sign up for Sacrament of Marriage (minimum 6 months prior the date)
· Ask for priest for a spiritual direction, general counseling and advice

INTRODUCTION
We gather today as the blind person who does not see the suffering in our world. Sometimes we are the deaf person who does not hear the cries of the poor and the mute who fails to speak up against injustice. We come to Jesus for healing so we may speak out against people and systems that oppress and silence the voices of the least among us

Heavenly Father,
Twenty-five years after September 11, 2001, we gather with solemn hearts to remember and honor the innocent lives lost in New York, the Pentagon, and Shanksville. Comfort their families, who have carried this grief for a quarter century.
We give profound thanks for the heroism of first responders who sacrificed everything in love for their neighbors. Lord, revive the spirit of unity that bound us together in our darkest hour. Heal our divisions, guide our world toward lasting peace, and grant us a future rooted in hope.
We ask this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Join us meet the Risen Lord again in our parish assembly listening to the Word of God and receiving his presence in the Holy Eucharist. Let us also come together on Sunday to seek God’s blessings for ourselves, our families, our community, and the world— especially praying for peace.

" Jesus began to show his disciples that he must suffer greatly…and be killed and on the third day be raised." (Matthew 16:21)
Introduction
When Peter rebukes Jesus for predicting His passion, he focuses only on the suffering and death, missing the promise of the resurrection. Peter wants to protect Jesus from the cross, but Jesus recognizes this as a temptation to avoid God's plan.
Jesus knows that glory cannot come without sacrifice, and that the only path to risen life is through the cross. True discipleship means trusting God's plan, even when it leads through difficulty, knowing that resurrection always awaits on the other side.
