Pride - Community
By Jane Flood
Many of us were attracted to WUUC by the community feeling. This is especially true of our LGBTQ+ members. Join the Welcoming Team as we consider the importance of community, and how for some LGBTQ+ people community is a matter of life and death,

During the service, Children, Youth, and Families Programming provides childcare and enrichment for children ages 3 months to 12 years. This week we will continue to discuss our theme of Flourishing Together as we celebrate Pride. We will make crafts as we discuss the importance of community and celebrating our differences.

Reflections on Wisdom From Our Super Seniors
By WUUC Super Seniors
WUUC's Super Seniors Group (made up of members 77+ years of age) will offer insights, and perhaps some wisdom, about life, which they have gained over their long lives. In particular, they will focus on suggestions for living out Unitarian Universalist values and avoiding gloom.

During the service, Children, Youth, and Families Programming provides childcare and enrichment for children ages 3 months to 12 years. This week we will finish exploring our theme of Awakening Curiosity. We will make self-portraits of our future selves as we discuss how the questions we explore as children can shape who we are as we grow older.

A Case for Small Ministries (or, Don't Try to Change the World)
By Reverend Dan Lillie
Unitarian Universalists are deeply committed to the vision of a more just and loving world. But what often gets in the way, is our own lofty expectations. If we focus too much on the big things beyond our ability to change, we set ourselves up for disappointment and burnout. But if we focus our efforts to be in closer proximity to us, we have a greater chance at making an impact.

During the service, Children, Youth, and Families Programming provides childcare and enrichment for children ages 3 months to 12 years. This week we will continue to explore our monthly theme of Awakening Curiosity. We will discuss how we can ask questions to help build a more just world in small ways.

Part II: Doubt
By Reverend Dan Lillie

Last week, we considered what Faith might look like for Unitarian Universalists. This week, we follow up with an exploration of Doubt. While often seen as a negative, doubt can be a gift that helps us grow. Let's look for the ways that doubt is showing up in our lives, and consider what we might do with it.

During the service, Children, Youth, and Families Programming provides childcare and enrichment for children ages 3 months to 12 years. This week we will introduce our new theme for the month, Awakening Curiosity. We will ask questions and learn about the UU ritual of Flower Communion as we make art projects that we will use in our pageant during the service on May 10th.

During the service, Children, Youth, and Families Programming provides childcare and enrichment for children ages 3 months to 12 years. This week we will finish exploring our monthly theme of Embracing Possibility. Through art projects, we will discuss how to embrace and identify the unique possibilities in each of us.

The WUUC Annual Rummage Sale is coming April 10 and 11!!
The Rummage Sale is our second largest fund raiser for WUUC. Members bring clothes, linens, toys, books, craft and household items, lawn/garden items, sports equipment, pet supplies, bikes-almost anything but furniture (we will also have a Boutique section for nicer items).

It’s a win, win, win sale:
– The annual Rummage Sale is a fundraiser for our community.
– It’s a chance for all of us to clean out unneeded stuff.
– It’s an opportunity for the community to visit our church and buy much needed well prices items.

Many Thanks from the Rummage Sale Team, Leslie Morton and Howard Voland
