At The Experience, our mission is to make authentic followers of Jesus Christ. We do this through authentic worship, authentic community, and authentic community service. We are a group of Christ-followers focused on living the life Jesus has called us to live. We are a nondenominational, self-sufficient community that teaches the biblical principles of grace, mercy, love, and community service. I

See you this weekend! We’ll worship together then dive into the Bible. We’re currently studying Acts, going line-by-line, verse-by-verse through the book.

The whole family is welcome! Your kids and students can check out ECCO (birth–5th grade) or Experience Students Middle School (6th–8th grade). We also have a special needs ministry called Emerge.

All proceeds from A Night of Prayer & Worship will go toward alleviating food insecurity in Middle Tennessee. Check out the nonprofits we're supporting:

Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee has been providing food for Middle Tennessee for nearly 50 years. In the last five years, they have distributed more than 51 million pounds of food to people in need in our area.

Working Mission exists to develop a sustainable foundation for international communities, equipping them, in part, through agricultural programs.

The Cannon County Food Bank provides an emergency source of food, free of charge, to any resident of Cannon County who is in need.

The Shelbyville Community Soup Kitchen is a nonprofit organization focused on reaching out to the homeless community in Shelbyville. Since 2016, it has grown to serve over 100 people each week.

The Storehouse is a food pantry dedicated to tackling hunger in Coffee County and surrounding areas.

During this free, seven-week course, you will learn what we believe and why we do what we do here at The Experience. Our goal is to help you grow as an authentic follower of Christ and answer any questions you have about the core beliefs and practices of our faith.

In September, we are shining a light on Food Insecurity to connect you to ways you can help feed the hungry around you.

For our upcoming event, A Night of Prayer & Worship on September 25th, we are partnering with Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee, which has been providing food for Middle Tennessee for nearly 50 years. A portion of the proceeds from merch sales will go to aid them in the work they do every day.

Each campus is also highlighting another local organization devoted to fighting food insecurity in their area, and the remainder of the proceeds from merch sales will be distributed among each of them. At our Cannon County Campus, we are highlighting the Cannon County Food Bank!

The Cannon County Food Bank provides an emergency source of food, free of charge, to any resident of Cannon County who is in need. They are looking for more volunteers and donations to support their work.

This September at The Experience, we're emphasizing prayer.

During Prayer & Communion Weekend, we will take a break from our current sermon series to deepen our understanding of these two practices of our faith.

These services will help us prepare our hearts and minds for A Night of Worship and Prayer, coming up at the end of the month. Each campus is hosting their own event, where we can gather together, slow down, and seek the Lord as a community.

Both events are designed to help us meaningfully and intentionally engage with God through prayer, communion, and worship.

"After he had given permission, Paul stood on the steps and motioned with his hand to the people. When there was a great hush, he addressed them in Aramaic: 'Brothers and fathers, listen now to my defense before you'" (Acts 21:40–22:1).

Lord—though we may never speak to crowds like Paul, You still place people in our lives who need to hear about You. Give us the words we need to speak confidently about You. Help us to trust You in every moment. We love You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Attention, students! Art Camp is October 19th–22nd!

This fall, we’re hosting a four-day camp for students to try new artistic methods, use their imaginations, and reflect the character of their Creator. Each day will begin with instruction from a member of our Art Ministry, followed by plenty of time for students to practice and create.

This time, our theme is “colors of autumn,” with a focus on color theory. By the end of the week, students will complete four original works of art using acrylic and watercolor paints, oil and soft pastels, charcoal drawing pencils, and mixed media from found objects.

Art Camp is free, but space is limited! Any 6th–12th grade student interested in improving their artistic skills is welcome to attend. The registration deadline is October 5th.
