Friday's Bible inspiration and a Prayer for Comfort and Courage - 9.11.2026, 25th Anniversary
Holy and Loving God,
Today we pause honor you and give thanks to you for your loving kindness and mercy toward us. On this day of commemoration and remembrance for all who had perished on 9.11.2001, may you comfort all who grieve loved ones who were lost. May your justice and peace prevail and roll down like a mighty stream to wash away evil, hatred and violence in our country and all over the world.
Grant your children today who have made a commitment to put their trust in your Son, Jesus, the courage and compassion to be light and salt wherever they live and serve.
May your Church, where you are glorified and loved by all who follow your Son, Jesus, as Lord and Savior, be faithful in making disciples of all nations, learning to live like Jesus in humble service and transforming our communities to become places of peace, healing, hope and new life.
