What an exceptional day we had this past Saturday at church of christ at Elkins hosting our annual community cookout. We had so many people stop to eat, visit, hang out, and just have a good time visiting with friends. Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by and to everyone who helped us make this happen. We feel so blessed. Come and see us!

Today after worship at Elkins we celebrated the marriage of Montana and Maleah Davis by throwing them a beautiful bridal shower. Every one loves them so much and wishes them a long and beautiful marriage. They both grew up in this congregation their whole lives, and we all feel blessed to have watched these two young adults commit their lives to God and each other.

In 2025, Facebook informed us that they would no longer allow us to keep our sermons on our facebook site. We had numerous sermons already on our site and Facebook told us that all of these sermons would be deleted by a certain date so if we wanted to keep them, we would need to move all of them someplace else. We created a Youtube channel and moved them all to the new site which took a considerable amount of time since Facebook no longer allows a file to be saved on the computer unless one uses something like fdown or fastvideosave. When the date of deletion arrived, Facebook did indeed delete all of our sermons. In addition, when I temporarily put our newest sermons on our Facebook site, they were deleted within one month.

I just wondered if this same behavior has happened to anyone else and why you think this happened to our sites?
