Thank you to all who made the Ninth Annual Woodburn Chili Cookoff a success, as $2,000 was raised for community organizations. Congratulations to John Zobrist (Woodburn Rotary), who was crowned the Judges’ Choice Champion. The Woodburn School District team took home the honor of Peoples’ Champion (most voted by the audience). Also congratulations to Woodburn Police Department Chief Jason Millican, who single handedly defeated the Woodburn Fire District team in the Police vs. Fire competition. And James Audritsh (Hallmark Properties) took the championship for the Civic/General category. Join us next year on January 24, 2026 for the Tenth Annual event!

How can someone come to faith in Jesus unless someone tells him or her about Jesus? That is our calling as followers of Jesus--to live our lives in such a way that we share Jesus through our actions and our words. Join us Sunday as we continue to explore our theme, "Living Out Our Faith Boldly" as we look at Romans 10.

The Woodburn Chili Cookoff is this Saturday, January 25 from 12:00 Noon until 1:30PM at Hoodview Church of God. This will be the ninth edition of this fun community event that has raised over $15,000 for local organizations. Admission is only $5, plus vote for your favorite chili for $1 per vote. Vote for Woodburn Fire or Woodburn Police or Woodburn Schools or Woodburn Rotary or Woodburn Kiwanis or French Prairie Kiwanis!
