During a spirit-filled service tonight, Hope Spurgeon was baptized by her father, Elder Luke Spurgeon, our church pastor. A couple of weeks prior Hope shared a testimony of her salvation experience and united with Fairview Church.
After the baptism our oldest church member, Sister Jean Clark , presented a Bible on behalf of the church and shared some wisdom with Hope, now our youngest member.

Today, Cora Hope Henderson made her inaugural visit to Fairview alongside her parents, Rheagan and Trevor. We pray that God's blessings will be bestowed upon this young family.

Friday and Saturday was filled with lots of laughs and fellowship. Thank you to everyone who supported our “Faith and Fizz” drink stand as well as everyone who came to work it.

We had a great time today participating in the Woodburn Christmas Parade! We hope we spread a little cheer along the way!

I thought some of you might find this interesting.
This is the photo that Mom, Jean Clark, was talking about on Sunday. It was taken from Elder F.W. Lambert’s biograhy, Traveling Toward the Sunrise.
Mom was 8 years old, standing up in the back of the truck with wooden sides on it. (arrow pointing to her)
I was unable to sharpen it enough to see her clearly but her dad, Tompie Hudson, (red arrow) and older brother are standing in the line to be baptized and they are pretty clear.
