That’s a wrap on the 2025-2026 High School Fellowship and Middle School Fellowship year! So grateful for a space where students can be curious and mentored, grow in wisdom and understanding, develop friendships with those who also want to know and love the Lord…and have fun!

From weekend retreats, to an evening at the Beachmont corn maze, to Christmas parties, to church minigolf, to bowling nights, to pool parties, to kickball showdowns, the students had a blast hanging out together!

Thank you to the wonderful staff and volunteers who helped make that all happen!

Does Closing Mean Revitalization Failed?
by Renee Beyea

COVID hit churches hard, especially family-sized congregations with slim margins in attendance. Add the unplanned departure of a popular rector and Christ the Saviour was forced to begin a pastoral search under strained circumstances.

Mid-2023, my husband and I accepted the call to shepherd these dear saints. Financial resources were projected to last one year. We would either witness the Lord grow this church, or we would chaplain it through closing.

We never imagined experiencing both.

Christ the Savior (CtS) has moved to Arbutus, MD! Our first public service at the Arbutus Social Club was held on Easter. We had our largest attendance ever and the Holy Spirit was palpable in the room. People who had previously visited our “Worship in the Park” joined us for a wonderful service, and they lingered for rich fellowship afterward.

In the April 22 Rector’s Letter from Incarnation Anglican (written by Rev. Amy Rowe), Rev. TJ Ono is announced as a new church planter in residence. In addition to celebrating the new position for Rev. TJ and the church he will plant, Rev. Amy Rowe’s letter answers questions that many might have about a church planter in residence and how that model might be different from other church plants. Please take a moment to read so you can learn, celebrate, and pray with us!

"However, we got a call from the landlord and learned that construction on the property would prohibit us from using the restroom! We quickly contacted the new church and asked if they would consider beginning the lease agreement two weeks ahead of schedule. The new church quickly responded and confirmed the request."
