Thank you to our volunteers who helped us move out of our old space last night and into our new one!

They say “Many hands make light work”, but it’s even better when you’re doing it with the family of God. Laughter and joy were in our midst as we worked, and we thank God for such a smooth and carefree workday!

More work and preparation will be done throughout this week, so stay tuned to our socials as we undergo the final phases of our church move!

Tuesday: Sound Booth Build (5pm Start)

Wednesday: Move Stuff In From Storage Unit, Furniture Build, Organization Day (6pm Start)

Thursday: Sound & AV Set-Up (5pm Start)

Saturday: Finishing Set-Up Day (8am Start)

All of this is in preparation for our inaugural service on Sunday, June 7th, at 10am! Come be a part of what God is doing at FFC!

Yesterday’s farewell service at 4349 Ridgewood Dr. was poignant, prayerful, and powerful. The presence of the Holy Spirit was evident in worship and in the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Thank You Lord for blessing us and sustaining us during this season!

Starting next Sunday, June 7th, we will be meeting at a NEW Location at a NEW Time!

Here’s a reminder that we will be meeting tonight to move our belongings out of our old church space and into our new temporary space!

We will meet at 4349 Ridgewood Center Drive at 5:30PM. If you are available, we would love to have your help! Many hands make light work, and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Today, May 31st, at 8:30AM, will be our last and final Sunday Service at our current location [4349 Ridgewood Center Dr. Woodbridge, VA 22193]

Come and pray and worship with us as we leave the old behind and embrace the new season God has for us!

WE ARE STILL MOVING, BUT…

While we wait for our permanent space to finish construction in compliance with county ordinances,
we have a temporary space in the same building complex!

Our last service at our current location will be on Sunday, May 31st, at 8:30AM.

Our first service at our new temporary location will be on Sunday, June 7th, at 10:00AM.

We apologize for this sudden change of plans! Moving to a new place can oftentimes come with some unpredictable bumps in the road! But in order for everyone to stay informed, please share this post and pray for us as we transition into our new temporary space! All glory be to God!

Join us for a very special Celebration CORE TONIGHT at 6:30PM!

That’s right, in recognition of completing our Men’s & Women’s breakout studies, we want to come back together and celebrate what God has done in our midst!

Chris and Shannon Ryder will be hosting and providing a delicious dinner. If you don’t know the address, please DM us for details.

All you need to bring is yourself and any guests you’d like to tag along! All are welcome, it is sure to be a night of refreshing fellowship! We will also be discussing details about our upcoming church move, so don’t miss out!

A few weeks back, some of our FFC Family took a field trip to scope out the location of our new church home!

Together, we dreamed, made plans, and prayed for God’s purposes to be fulfilled within these walls.

Now, in less than two weeks, we will be moving out, moving in, and moving forward in this new season for Freedom Fellowship Church!

New Address: 3310 Noble Pond Way [Suite 110], Woodbridge, VA 22193.

Our last service at our current location will be on Sunday, May 31st, at 8:30AM.

Our first service at our new location will be on Sunday, June 7th, at 10:00AM.

Join us tomorrow morning for our Pentecost Sunday Service!

WHAT IS PENTECOST?

Pentecost comes from the Greek word “Pentecoste” meaning 50th day. Pentecost Sunday is one of the most prominent feast days in the Christian calendar. It is often referred to as the “Birthday of the Church”.

It marks the day when the Holy Spirit descended upon Jesus’s Apostles in Acts 2, who had been living in fear for fifty days following the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter Sunday.

On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came down visibly like fire on the Apostles. He gave them the power to speak in diverse tongues to the crowds that came to Jerusalem for that Feast. He also transformed them, from fearful timid men into giants of courage and faith.

WHY WE CELEBRATE

We believe the Church at large needs to remain hungry for the Holy Spirit; that we should continually seek God for an outpouring of His power and boldness. We want to be faithful witnesses in our community, preaching the Gospel and moving in signs and wonders.

Will you join us in seeking the Lord for His continued mercy and grace?
