Week of Prayer & Fasting, Day Four
Prayer Focus: God - Highly Exalted
What does it mean for God to be “Highly Exalted”?
That God and His Kingdom would be Magnified; above every other kingdom, idol, or desire of our hearts, we pray that the name of Jesus would be lifted up and that He would draw people from every nation, every tribe, and every tongue to Himself.
Today’s Activity:
•Set a Midday Alarm: Choose a specific time (like 12:00 PM or 3:00 PM) to stop what you are doing for FIVE minutes.
•Surrender Control: Acknowledge God as the highest authority in your current task, letting go of self-directed stress.
•Ask Three Focused Questions:
1. Where did I rely on my own strength instead of God’s guidance today?
2. How can I serve or love someone around me in the next few hours?
3. What physical burden or worry do I need to lay at Jesus’ feet right now?
•Anchor in Scripture: Read a short, kingdom-focused verse like Matthew 6:33 to realign your thoughts
before returning to your work.
•Prayer: Lord, I pray that You would be the focus of my heart and mind. I repent of the times when I forget that the greatest gift I have is You. I pray for Your will to be done and for Your Kingdom to come down now to earth. I thank You for Your love for me and I promise that I will live a sacrificial life to You, which is my reasonable service to You my great God and King. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
During this Week of Prayer & Fasting, it’s important that we take to heart what God is speaking to us individually and as a Church. We will be having daily Corporate Prayer Meetings, taking place IN-PERSON at the Vinson Household. Here is our schedule:
Monday-Friday: 6:30PM-7PM
Saturday: 10AM-10:30AM
While we encourage everyone to join us in-person, these gatherings will also be broadcast virtually on our FFC App, Facebook, and YouTube.
