As faithful stewards of God’s Word, it is important to us that we teach the Scriptures accurately. We would like to clarify a statement made during this morning’s service regarding Rachel and the naming of her sons. According to Book of Genesis 35:17–18, it was Benjamin—not Joseph—who was initially given another name by Rachel during childbirth.
