Happy Easter to you all!

Easter service, April 5, 2026! I hope that many of you will be able to join us either in-person or online.

Tomorrow is the first Sunday of the month and we will be celebrating Holy Communion, so if you do join us online, please remember to bring your own bread and juice.

And, it is also food share Sunday, so please support your favorite food shelf in one way or another: if you are attending in-person, you can bring food for the Lamoille Community Food Share, or you can provide food and or funds to you local food shelf and even offer to volunteer. Our food shelves are stretched these days with the high prices of groceries so please do what you can to help our our neighbors who are suffering from food insufficiency.

Just wanted to remind all of you that we will be holding our annual Maundy Thursday Service this coming
Thursday, April 2, 2026 at 5pm, beginning with a shared meal in the back of the sanctuary. Everyone is invited to join us and please, if you are able, bring some food to share. If that is a problem, please just bring yourself.
If you want to email me and let me know what you are bringing that would be great, but it is not necessary.

Our meal will be followed by a worship service in which we remember Jesus' last meal with his disciples when
he gave us the sacrament we now refer to as Holy Communion and we will be sharing in that service, as well.

We will be zooming the service, as well, and I will send out the link nearer to the service time.

Please join us for this special service as we remember Jesus' last hours on this earth before he gave his life for us on the cross and then overcame death and returned to this earth as we celebrate his resurrection on Sunday morning.

Good afternoon to you all!

I sincerely apologize to those of you who were trying to connect with zoom this morning. I misplaced the paper with my password, changed my password, and then managed to hit the "reset" button which took far too long for us to connect before the service started. I think I have corrected everything now and am set for the next zoom meeting which will actually be for our Maundy Thursday service which will be at 5:00pm this coming Thursday. Those who come in-person will share a meal together as the beginning of the service and we will
zoom the entire service. I will send out a link later in the week.

Also, just to let you all know, we will be holding our Spring Maple Dinner this year on Saturday, March 21 from 4-6pm. So, if you are around, please join us either for take-out (4-5pm) or sit-down (5-6pm). We will have our usual casseroles - Maple Baked Beans, mac and cheese, hash brown casserole, Shepherd's Pie, etc., along with coleslaw, rolls and lots of
maple desserts. Hope to see you there!

Presenter: Rev. Paul Nickerson (UCC) is an experienced trainer and coach, working with congregations across the country, including UMCs.

This event is open to both clergy and laity and jointly sponsored by the Vermont UCC and Green Mountain District of NEUMC.
