Wisner Community Lenten Breakfasts start this Thursday the 19th and continue every Thursday morning until April 2nd. They are held at United Methodist Church of Christ located at 916 F Ave. E in Wisner. Proceeds from a free will offering go towards the Wisner Ministerial Association, an account used by the Priests and Pastors of Wisner to financially help residents in need. Each church takes turns preparing and serving the breakfasts and giving a devotion and prayer.

Menu: pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee, and orange juice.

Christmas Eve Worship Service at Christ Lutheran originally planned for 6 PM has been moved to 6:30 PM.

Christ Lutheran Sunday School Christmas Program "A Christmas Yarn" will premire Sunday December 21st at 10:30 AM.

After the program, the CLC/UMCC youth group will host a potato bake lunch in the basement fellowship hall.
