This year, the Solemnity of the Assumption of Mary will occur on a Saturday, August 15. According to the USCCB's guidance, it will not be considered a Holy Day of Obligation in the United States.

Nevertheless, this feast remains a significant event in the Church's liturgical calendar. In recognition of its importance, Assumption Masses have been scheduled at all of our churches.

Join us for food, fun, and fellowship at the St. John Paul II Pastorate Picnic next Sunday, August 9, starting at 5 p.m. at Village Forest Park in West Baraboo. The main dish, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, will be provided. Bring a dish to pass!

It's time to clean your closets! SVDP CLOTHING DRIVE

St Vincent de Paul is in need of women's clothing! On the weekends of August 1st and 2nd & 8th and 9th, we will have a truck at St Cecilia and will be be collecting clothes at St. Cecilia before and after all the masses on those weekends. So get busy, empty your closets and you will be helping those in need!
Every donation and every sale benefits those in our area who are in need!
