Gene Schmidt the over seer of the Church has been an advocate for the homeless, veterans, and decency in WI and also is the president of Adoration Abode which operates 2 men's transitional housing facilities in WI. he is also a musician and founder of CSMI a 400 member Christian Music Organization.
