MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY!!
Looking for for a way to be the hands and feet (and voice) of Jesus right here at home? Join the Faith Samaritans as we visit the residents at the Veterans Care Center. Sat, Sept 4th at 2pm.
We sing, we dance, we pray, we have a great time. The residents love having us there!....I promise you will be blessed beyond words!!! Please reach out if you have any questions/concerns!

Come out and support the Faith Fellowship Garage Sell and silent auction of vintage Virginia Tech Memorabilia. There will be a car wash and food. The Veterans Ministry is sponsoring this event to help raise awareness and funds for Veterans needs in Southwest Virginia. We hope to see you there.

As we all realize, we are facing unprecedented times which call for unprecedented care for all. We appreciate all of your consideration in attending this event, but we feel that it is best to to reschedule the event possibly over the summer or early fall. We realize that there would be a good amount of older veterans (Vietnam era and before) in attendance which we know are at higher risk and more susceptible to COVID-19. We’ve been especially worried about them and their family members. As it is better to use the precautionary measures recommended by the CDC and hold no mass gatherings, we want what’s best for our community. We want everyone to not live in fear, but be proactive rather than reactive. A little more planning is much better than causing potential danger to anyone. Thank you all, and please know that we will update the public with a new date once we have determined our citizens’ safety is no longer compromised.
