Today at Church Lane was recognized as he is going to start basic training.
Lane leaves tomorrow for Basic Training at Fort Jackson South Carolina, where he will spend the next 10 weeks preparing for future service in the Army National Guard. After completing Basic Training he will return home to finish his senior year at GFW. Following graduation next Summer, Lane will head to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, for Advanced Individual Training (AIT), where he will train as a Combat Medic. We are incredibly proud of his commitment, dedication and willingness to serve!
