High Holiday Schedule 2018/5779

Dear Friends,
This year please join our friends from out of town who will be coming to help create a more meaningful High Holiday experience for all of us. We welcome Rav Joshua Skootsky from New York who will be chazan and resident rabbi this year. We also welcome our friends from Chelsea, Malden, Brookline, and elsewhere. As usual seats are free but please pay your dues early to help fund the festivities. A happy and healthy New Year to you and your families!

The shul is deeply saddened by the loss of Jodi Blumenthal's maternal grandmother, Ruth Cobrin, who passed away last week. Jodi is the wife of our excellent cantor, Yossi Kashnow, who was with us this past Yom Kippur, and previous years. May you and your family be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

Obituary for Ruth Cobrin, Mrs. Ruth Cobrin, of Monsey, NY, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at her residence. Mrs. Cobrin was born on September 20, 1931, in Fulda, Germany. She was 86 years old. Funeral

We are happy to announce Amihai Zippor will be joining the shul in leading services for Rosh Hashana and Yossi Kashnow will be joining the shul to lead the Yom Kippur services. Schedule with exact times will follow soon.

Also, a reminder, if you are planning to join the shul for any meals please let us know ahead of time so we may prepare enough food.

While the shul had a successful Yom Kippur, we are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our good friend and member Nathaniel Schreibman, father of Brian and Helena on Erev Yom Kippur. Nat was a member of the shul for years and helped out on many, many occasions in many ways.
