Growth often happens in the places we would rather avoid. The hard conversations, the discipline, the correction, the responsibility, and the resistance can feel heavy, but God can use those very places to strengthen what He is building in you. There is no growth without pressure, and there is no harvest without labor.🙏

Complacency tells us to chase the place where life finally gets easy, but following Jesus calls us to keep trusting Him through mountaintops, valleys, harvest seasons, sowing seasons, building seasons, and fighting seasons. Faithful fathers remind us that strong influence shows up in the daily choices to provide, encourage, guide, listen, and remain present day after day. Those steady acts of faithfulness give us a glimpse of the heart of God, our Father, who never stops caring for His children and never grows weary of walking with them.🧡

As Father’s Day approaches, it is worth taking a moment to appreciate the men who have reflected that kind of consistency in our lives. Their example points beyond themselves to a God who is patient, faithful, and present every single day. Sometimes the greatest legacy is simply showing up faithfully.

Summer has a way of changing the rhythm of life. Kids are home from school, vacations fill the calendar, weekends look different, and the routines that usually keep things on track can feel a little harder to maintain. Before long, it is easy to feel mentally, emotionally, and even spiritually scattered without really noticing it.

The goal in following Jesus is not to create the perfect routine. The goal is to stay connected to Him in the middle of it all, and to be faithful to be obedient to what He is telling us to do. Small, consistent steps often have a bigger impact than we realize. As summer gets busy, make space for what matters most and let Jesus remain at the center of it all.🧡

Some people are walking into next week carrying questions they cannot answer on their own. Some are searching for direction, peace, clarity, or a renewed closeness with God. Prayer and fasting create intentional space to quiet distractions and seek Him with focus, humility, and dependence. Throughout Scripture, people fasted when they needed wisdom, a breakthrough, and a fresh awareness of God’s presence.

But fasting is not only for difficult seasons. Jesus Himself practiced it, and following Jesus means learning to build life around the rhythms He modeled. Fasting reminds our hearts that God alone is the one who sustains, leads, and fills what the world never could.🙏🏾🙏🏼

Our 3 Days of Prayer and Fasting begin tomorrow, and this is an opportunity for our church family to seek God together. Let this be your next step. 💛

The direction of your focus often determines the direction of your faith.

Hebrews 12 calls believers to fix their eyes on Jesus, because He remains steady when everything else feels uncertain. Peter's story reminds us that faith was never about having complete confidence in himself. It was about trusting the One who called him out of the boat in the first place.

Many people spend their days staring at problems, replaying worries, and trying to carry responsibilities that belong to God. Jesus offers a better way. He invites His followers to keep their attention on Him, to trust His character, and to remember that He is both the author and finisher of their faith.🧡
