In tonight's study we learn that the center of the Christians life and character should be humility. Jesus was the ultimate example of humility. Being God, He humbled Himself to experience life as a man and redeem mankind. In this study Semenya Jordan teaches and challenges us to deny ourselves by making a conscious decision to set aside personal desires, ambitions, and comforts in favor of God's will. Biblical humility involves recognizing one's dependence on God and valuing others. The way up for the believer is not as the world. The way up for the believer is to get low.
