DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!

Last week our kiddos heard all about and how they could make a difference in the lives of kids in our local community who are part of the foster system.
We saw kiddos bring tooth fairy money, piggy bank money, chore money and we heard testimonies from kids and parents that were or have been part of the foster system. When the counting was over, our kids and families raised $1151.82 for this beautiful ministry. That is what being the hands and feet of Jesus is all about!! 🎊🙌

This year for the first time ever, when our 4th & 5th graders signed up for VBS, we texted their parents with a special invitation for an extended addition. For those who registered, they started their VBS experience daily at 3pm. Each of our kids attended a spiritual track and a fun track. Then, before VBS started, we spent time sharing a meal with our friends.

On the final night of VBS, after the family experience ended, those kids and multiple leaders had a sleepover!

We filled their night with Family Feud (many of them were like "family what?"), Gaga ball, 9 square, and a scavenger hunt where they did random challenges... including prank calling .pxckett (BEST youth director ever) then finishing random tasks with photo/video proof, such as: recreating their favorite Bible story or taking a creative picture with a monster truck.

It was an amazing ending to a beautiful week!!
