If you're struggling at this time, take a look at these photographs... This is the rubble of the church I grew up in, in Rockaway Park NY. This was immediately after hurricane Sandy came through and destroyed everyone's homes, belongings, pets, and even lives. Amongst all the wreckage, the blessed mother stands tall. She calls on us not to focus on the destruction around us, but the simple beauty and strength that we all have inside. She alone weathered the storm, showing us how strong she is. Lean on her in times of struggle, stress, pain, and healing. She will guide you home.

I am asking for prayers today. A good friend of mine lost her 3 month old son Ronan last night. He was born with tetralogy of fallot and underwent major surgery to correct his heart. Unfortunately he lost his battle and went back into the arms of the creator. He was a strong and beautiful little boy, and although his time here was short, he certainly made an impact in so many people's lives. I'm so sorry Jennifer. I send all of my love to you and your husband.
