Friday, November 7, 2025 — A Time of Fellowship, Song, and Vision
On Friday, November 7, 2025, we will gather in fellowship, song, and joyful anticipation of what God has in store for us. This marks our 100th District Conference — a milestone moment to celebrate God’s faithfulness! Together we will remember the saints who have gone before us and welcome those who will carry the mission forward.
As you prepare to join us at The Lighthouse Community Church in Sebring, here are a few notes to help you plan:
• Registration is still open! You may register online or in person at the Conference — there’s still time to be part of this historic gathering.
• On Friday, two opportunities for CEUs will be offered:
o 2:00 p.m. — “Financial Sustainability: Dreaming, Planning, and Budgeting,” led by Jan Fahs Brown of Eder Financial.
o 4:15 p.m. — “Environmental Stewardship for Congregations,” led by our Saturday Keynote Speaker, David Radcliff.
• Friday evening worship will lift our spirits with a joyful Hymn Sing and a time of sharing in the Bread and Cup Communion.
• Saturday morning begins with a light breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by Business Session at 9:30 a.m.
• We will conclude our Conference, as is our tradition, with the always-enjoyable Pie Auction! Bring your favorite pie — and one from your congregation — for Mike Neff to auction off for a good cause.
Throughout our two days together, we will also share Moments of Blessing — reflections of gratitude for the ways God has touched our lives this past year. You’ll have an opportunity to jot down a few words of thankfulness (no names needed), and we’ll share them during the Conference.
Finally, let us show appreciation to our gracious hosts, The Lighthouse Community Church, by supporting their Food Pantry. They are currently in need of:
• Pancake Mix (the “just add water” kind)
• Pancake Syrup
• Jelly (no Peanut Butter, please)
So come ready — ready to learn, praise the Lord, and enjoy fellowship and dinner (graciously provided by Beth Sollenberger).
Bring your pies, your blessings, and your joyful hearts as we gather for this 100th District Conference — celebrating a century of faith, fellowship, and God’s unchanging grace!
