After noticing people in my area on the street asking for money growing, I decided to ask them why they beg. The most common answer was because they or their family were hungry. Why do they only accept cash on the street? Why not accept credit cards and online payments? I created a program where any person in need of food can register, setup a small profile (picture and a story) and promote themse
lves on the street with a small link (eshgr.org/*username*). Passer-bys can use their smart phone to donate money to them. How does the person in need receive their money? All persons living in the USA are guaranteed by the USPS a mailing address even if they don't have a regular address. Additionally, many churches and community centers offer their addresses to the homeless. Most people in need already have mailing addresses already. So, they receive the money via check in the mail. Do they get all of my donation? PayPal takes 5% + 0.05 of each transaction. After that, the person in need gets 90% and End Street Hunger receives 10%. If an affiliate is attached to the person's account the affiliate receives 5% of our portion (out of the 10%) and the person still receives 90% of every donation. Can anyone become an affiliate? When registering select the option 'I would like to be an affiliate and earn money by registering people.' For every person you sign up, and they put your username in their 'My Affiliate" section, you will receive 5% of every donation (after PayPal fees). Interested?
