There is still life in our garden…and lots of weeds. We have a full sweet potato bed, cabbages & broccolis. And onions. I spread a pile of cardboard boxes. There is still a load of mulch to spread on top of the cardboard. Summer seeds are started in my greenhouse. Let’s schedule an early morning garden day for cleanup & planting. Fall seed trays will be started next month.

Huge thanks to our neighbors at A Budget Tree Service for donating & delivering a load of mulch. No need to wait for formal garden work days…feel free to lend a hand spreading mulch whenever you can. There is cardboard to lay down & just cover with mulch. Wear gloves & simply fill a tub or small box at a time. Always remember sun protection & to hydrate. The hose now has a quick connect & release to make watering easier.

Passover parsley garden is in! Beds will be prepped and ready for the rest of the planting soon.
