Morning Devotional: God’s timing is perfect, and waiting on Him builds endurance (Isaiah 40:31, Romans 5:3-4). Let’s pray for strength to wait and trust His plan.
- Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint." (KJV)
- Romans 5:3-4
"And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope:" (KJV)
- Psalm 27:14
"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD." (KJV)
- Lamentations 3:25-26
"The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD." (KJV)
- Hebrews 6:15
"And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise." (KJV)
- James 1:3-4
"Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." (KJV)
Prayer for Endurance and Waiting on God:
Heavenly Father,
We wait on You, trusting Your timing (Psalm 27:14). Renew our strength like eagles (Isaiah 40:31). Help us endure trials with patience, knowing they build perseverance and hope (Romans 5:3-4, James 1:3-4).
Give us courage in delays. Keep our hearts focused on Your promises (Hebrews 6:15).
Lord, You’re good to those who wait (Lamentations 3:25-26). Help us wait quietly, seeking You.
Shape us through waiting into vessels that reflect Your glory.
In Jesus Christ name, Amen.
