Hey Students and Families!

Summer may be winding down, but we’re going out with a bang!

Join us THIS Wednesday from 6:00–8:00 PM for our End of Summer Bash! We’ve got a huge night planned, including:

DJ Bubbles & the Florida Foam Factory
Pelican Ice Truck
Walking Tacos for dinner
Inflatables
Games
And plenty more!

IMPORTANT: Inflatable Waiver Required
Anyone who wants to participate on the inflatables MUST have a signed waiver.

I’ve attached the waiver to an email that went out, but LET ME KNOW IF YOU DIDN'T RECEIVE IT!

You can:
Complete it and email it back,
Print it and bring it with you Wednesday,
Fill one out on-site when you arrive.
If the participant is under 18, the waiver MUST be signed by a parent or legal guardian.

We want everyone to be able to jump right into the fun when they arrive, so completing the waiver ahead of time will definitely help speed things up!

Invite a friend, come hungry, and get ready for an awesome night as we celebrate the end of summer together.

Tonight we're studying Romans 14, a HUGE deal on judgement, criticism, stumbling blocks, and conscience. It apples to ALL OF US! Also we're doing pancakes, bacon, and eggs for dinner from Cracker Barrel! See ya'll at 6pm - check in by the gym!

Tonight we're doing breakfast for dinner starting at 6pm and a series of games called PAJAMALYMPICS! This is for everyone, MS/HS! AND we wrap our Hot Takes series talking about how to win our friends to faith! It all starts at 6! See ya'll soon!

Last night in Hot Takes, we tackled relationships through one foundational truth:

People are made in God’s image—and meant to be honored.

Instead of asking common questions like “How do I choose the right friends?” or “How far is too far?”, we reframed everything around one better question:
Am I honoring the image of God in myself and this person?

We walked through God’s design for:

Family – honor starts at home (Ephesians 6:1–3)
Friendships – who we walk with shapes who we become (Proverbs 13:20)
Dating – not casual, but directional toward God’s design (2 Corinthians 6:14)
Marriage – a reflection of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:25)
Our lives & presentation – even our thoughts and actions should honor God (2 Corinthians 10:5)

The takeaway:
Image-bearers aren’t meant to be used—they’re meant to be honored.

And we don’t naturally live this way, but through Jesus, our hearts can be changed so we can love people the way God designed.
