the Crossings Church Seeing People Come Alive in Christ Here at the Crossings Church we have a passion for seeing people come alive in Christ.

Sunday mornings are casual and friendly, weaving creativity with worship and relevant Biblical teaching to build an authentic faith that enhances every aspect of life. It’s a place where people can come as they are, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey, and grow at their own pace.

When you seek God's kingdom above all else, even through slander and hardship, He will bless you. God rewards holiness, not ambition. Your faith and love get His attention, not your achievements. Choose His way above yours.

Are you unknowingly grieving the Holy Spirit?

Sometimes God leads us into uncomfortable things:
forgiveness, obedience, honesty, courage, surrender.

And sometimes our “no” may be grieving the very Spirit who is with us every day.

The Holy Spirit isn’t distant. He is God with us — guiding us, changing us, and reminding us that we are children of God.

The question is: are we listening when He leads?

Grateful for the powerful and encouraging word shared with our leadership team by Pastor Ralph Howe of . A reminder that ministry — and life — moves through seasons. Some are full of joy and fruitfulness, while others bring challenges that press us deeper into dependence on God.

No matter the season, the calling remains the same: Love God. Love People.

Thankful for the reminder that God’s presence, His Word, and His blessing sustain us for the long haul. As Pastor Ralph shared, “Whatever season you’re in, when you wake up, decide to love God and love people.”

Many people avoid God not because He’s hiding… but because they know finding Him might require them to change.

Scripture reminds us that God isn’t distant or ignoring us. He’s near. He’s revealing Himself through creation, through His Word, through moments of conviction, mercy, and grace. The question isn’t “Does God want to be found?” The question is: are we truly looking for Him?

The beautiful part is this: God promises that when we seek Him wholeheartedly, we _will_ find Him. And when we turn toward Him instead of away from Him, we don’t find condemnation — we find forgiveness, refreshment, hope, and peace.

“If you trust God with your salvation… shouldn’t you trust God with your wallet?”

That question sticks.

Because money was never meant to be a master—it’s a tool.
A tool to glorify Him, grow His kingdom, bless people, and even enjoy responsibly.

But when trust in God decreases, trust in money quietly takes its place.

And money is a terrible god.
It promises security… but delivers uncertainty.
It offers identity… but creates emptiness.

Jesus said it plainly: you can’t serve both.

So the real question isn’t about money—
It’s about trust.

How are you stewarding what God has given you?
Is it building your kingdom… or His?

The struggle is real! Walking the fine line between loving our family and making them an idol is something we all get wrong sometimes. When family becomes our ultimate priority over God, it leads to disappointment, distortion, and distance. Let’s keep submitting to the Lord to get this right!

Bad trades don’t just happen in business—they happen in the heart. We trade God for things that can’t satisfy: success, approval, comfort, money, or control.

If you can’t identify the idol in your life, it already has you.

God wants relationship, not empty religion. He is the fountain of living water, not the broken things we run to instead.

“You must not have any other god but me.” — Exodus 20:3

Death doesn’t get the final word—Jesus does.

The resurrection isn’t just His story, it’s our promise.
Because He lives, we will too.

The tomb was empty. Lives were changed. Hope is alive.
Death is swallowed up in victory.

Believe in the resurrected Christ.
Praise God. Live like victory is already yours.
