The True Vine Churches of Deliverance International (TVCOD) is A Systemic Network of Jurisdictional Churches in Covenant Fellowship.

Grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied unto you in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Apostolic Board of Governance of the True Vine Churches of Deliverance International (TVCOD) hereby formally announces the appointment of Apostle Dr. Annette Hall Ross to serve as Presidium and Interim Apostle of the True Vine Churches of Deliverance International.

This appointment comes during a sacred and consequential season in the life of our International Church following the transition of our beloved leader, the late Most Apostolic Primate/Establishmentarian, Apostle Dr. Sylvester Davis Johnson. His extraordinary life of service, apostolic leadership, unwavering conviction, and steadfast devotion to the Church of Jesus Christ established a spiritual and ecclesiastical legacy that remains deeply woven into the identity of True Vine.

As we continue to honor his memory and steward the work to which he gave himself so faithfully, the Apostolic Board of Governance recognizes the importance of providing stability, continuity, and prayerful apostolic leadership during this period of transition.

Therefore, Apostle Dr. Annette Hall Ross has been entrusted with the responsibility of providing apostolic oversight and ecclesiastical leadership as Presidium and Interim Apostle. In this capacity, she will help guide the affairs of our International Church as we prayerfully discern the future and remain faithful to our established governance, spiritual heritage, and Kingdom assignment.

We call upon the entire constituency of the True Vine Churches of Deliverance International—our Apostles, Bishops, Overseers, Pastors, Clergy, Diaconate, Laity, jurisdictions, churches, and ministries—to surround Apostle Ross with fervent prayer, gracious cooperation, and unified support as she accepts this sacred responsibility.

While we deeply feel the absence of our beloved Establishmentarian, we remain assured that the God who established this work has not abandoned the work. The mantle of responsibility before us is great, but our confidence remains steadfast in Christ, the Chief Shepherd and Head of His Church.

As we honor the enduring legacy of Apostle Dr. Sylvester Davis Johnson, we now move forward together with faith, dignity, order, and unity—preserving what has been entrusted to us while remaining attentive to where God is leading us next.

We honor the foundation. We embrace the transition.
We remain united in purpose. And together, we move forward.

The entire fellowship of the True Vine Churches of Deliverance International (TVCOD) extend our deepest Christian sympathy and fervent prayers to Apostle Annette Hall Ross, the Ross family, Grace and Mercy Cathedral, and the Kingdom Ministries International Fellowship (KMIF) on the Homegoing of our beloved Sir Deacon Donnie Ross.

Sir Ross faithfully adorned the office of a deacon with humility, dignity, and unwavering devotion to Christ and His Church. His life bore witness to the sacred calling of servant leadership, leaving an enduring legacy of faithfulness, compassion, and steadfast commitment to the work of the Kingdom.

Though our hearts are touched by the sorrow of his passing, we are comforted by the sure and certain hope of the Resurrection through our Lord Jesus Christ. We rejoice in the promise that those who labor faithfully in the vineyard of the Lord shall receive an incorruptible crown and hear the Master’s gracious commendation: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.”

May the God of all comfort strengthen Apostle Ross, the Ross family, and the entire Grace and Mercy Cathedral and KMIF family during these sacred days of remembrance. Be assured that the True Vine Churches of Deliverance International stands in unwavering prayer and loving solidarity with you as together we celebrate a life faithfully lived and a servant honorably called from labor to eternal reward.

Official Statement of Condolence

“Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord… that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” — Revelation 14:13

The True Vine Churches of Deliverance International extend our heartfelt condolences to Apostle Annette Hall Ross, the Ross family, and the beloved congregation of Grace and Mercy Cathedral (KMIF) upon the earthly transition of Sir Deacon Donnie Ross.

We join with the saints in mourning the passing of a faithful servant whose life bore witness to steadfast devotion, humble service, and unwavering commitment to the Kingdom of God. Having fought a good fight, finished his course, and kept the faith, Sir Deacon Ross has now entered into the eternal rest prepared for the righteous, where he shall receive the crown promised by our Lord.

While the Church Militant grieves his absence, the Church Triumphant rejoices in his glorious reception into the presence of Almighty God. We are sustained by the blessed assurance of Holy Scripture, knowing that “the dead in Christ shall rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16), and that those who sleep in Christ shall awaken to everlasting life.

In this sacred hour of bereavement, we fervently pray that the Holy Spirit, the Divine Comforter, will overshadow Apostle Annette Hall Ross, the Ross family, and the Grace and Mercy Cathedral (KMIF) family with His abiding peace, sustaining grace, and everlasting consolation. May the everlasting arms of our Lord uphold them, and may the hope of the Resurrection strengthen every heart.

What we experienced at the “To Protect & Serve” Adjutancy Retreat & Episcopal Conclave 2026 was truly special.

From thoughtful conversations about the role of technology and AI in ministry, to honest moments centered on caring for the soul, this time together was both meaningful and necessary. Add to that the moments of connection, laughter, rest, and real conversation—it all came together in a way that reminded us why this work matters.
