ROOTS STUDENTS SUMMER MEETINGS UPDATE

Check out the info below. For Roots Summer meetings we will meet most Fridays during the 9 weeks of Summer between June 1 and July 31st.

First meeting will be next Friday, 6/12 at the church! Come out for Food, Games and Devotions! We will resume normal meetings for Roots August 9th!

Check this out for our Roots Regular Scheduled meetings this summer. No Sunday nights June or July! Friday June 12 will be the first meeting of Friday at the Fraziers, but will be at the church for a Grill out!

Starting this Sunday 6/7, we will not be having Sunday night ROOTS until school starts back in august! instead, we will meet for Fridays at the Fraziers. Our first meeting for that will be 6/12, at the Student Center at the Church! We are going to have a start of summer grill out and hang out at the church as we prepare for our summer retreat! Moving forward from there, we will meet on the Friday dates listed at The Frazier’s House! Be on the lookout this summer too for popup dates for other get together!!

THE BOOK OF JOHN - Week 3 Recap

John 1:50-51 - “50 Jesus said, "You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that." He then added, "Very truly I tell you, you will see 'heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on'ta the Son of Man.”

How important is it for us to invite others to join in God’s work?

Jesus called disciples by asking people to join Him! How Crucial is it for us to invite others? This could lead to a disciple who makes other disciples.

THE BOOK OF JOHN - Week 1 Recap

John 1:14 - “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. We observed his glory, the glory as the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.”

This Sunday we began a series on the Book of John. Highlighting the life, ministry, death and resurrection of Jesus. Join us as Pastor Jim takes us through this book. This week we asked the question.

Who is Jesus to you?

Ask yourself that. Ask daily, Are you making time for Jesus? Are you intentionally setting aside time to prioritize HIM above all else?
