Water Main Break Updated info:

WHAT WE KNOW: Utility crews located the break and have exposed the damage for repair. The water main is beneath a pond in a remote area, 40 feet underground. Isolating the water main has already restored service to several critical facilities, with water pressure recovering across the system.

BOIL ADVISORY: Still in effect. Water quality testing began last night in areas where pressure has returned to normal and will continue today; the advisory will lift once testing confirms there hasn't been any contamination.

DISTRIBUTION SITES: Free bottled water is available today (drive-thru, one case per vehicle) at:
~ Griffith Elementary School
~ Kennedy High School
~ Kernersville Elementary School
~ Walkertown High School

GOOD TO KNOW: Crews will also be flushing fire hydrants in affected areas to restore water quality and clear the system of air and sediment.

We had the joy of recognizing and celebrating our newest members as they received their New Members Certificates during worship. We are grateful that God has led each of you to become a part of our church family.

We are thrilled to announce that at the recent 178th Regional Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) held in North Carolina, our beloved Pastor David Harrison Jr., has been elected to serve as the Vice-Moderator of the Region of North Carolina. This esteemed position allows Pastor David to play a pivotal role in fostering collaboration among congregations, empowering fellow pastors, and promoting the broader mission of Jesus Christ throughout the region.

In his capacity as Vice-Moderator, Pastor David will work closely with a diverse group of church leaders, engaging in initiatives to strengthen our congregations and uplift our community members. His commitment to First Christian Church (FCC) remains unwavering, and he looks forward to integrating his responsibilities in this new role while continuing to nurture our local church family.
