Well, that’s a wrap for the first 6 months of 2026! Our food and fellowship at Mama Zoe’s and Reynolda Gardens made for a great Saturday morning. I want to remind everyone of our dinner with Dianne on Tuesday, June 23rd, 6:30pm, at the Milk Bar, 213 N Main Street, Walnut Cove. The van will be leaving promptly at 6pm from Freewater for an easy drive northeast of Winston. The sign-up sheet is at the welcome desk and carpooling is welcome.
July 2026 is the Well Women's Ministry sabbatical month to enjoy the long hot days of summer with family and friends. I am working on plans for August-December 2026 and will have those out to you by the first of July 2026.
I want to share a few extracurricular events you may want to attend and support in the community this week.
First is the grand opening of The Garden of Remembrance for Preborn Babies with Not Forgotten Ministries. Ms. Tori and her team would love for you to come and support this very special dedication service. The service is scheduled for Friday, June 19th at 7pm. The garden is located at 971 Salisbury Ridge Road, Winston Salem. A short 15-minute drive north from Freewater Church.
Secondly, Pastor Sharo Ramkhelawan of Hope NYC Church will be in conference at the Patrick Springs Pentecostal Church, 260 Spring Rd, Patrick Springs, VA Friday evening, June 19th and Saturday morning, June 20th. There is a $20.00 register fee and includes two meals. This is a 1 hour and 15-minute drive north from Freewater Church, and a great opportunity to carpool with a sister. This is a rare opportunity to be in service with Pastor Sharo this close to the Piedmont Triad. She is a phenomenal speaker and you will enjoy her ministry.

Ladies, our breakfast reservations are booked for Mama Zoe’s, Saturday, June 13th at 9am, 2859 Reynolda Rd, WS. I still have a stroll through Reynolda Gardens planned for after breakfast only if the weather conditions are favorable for outside activity. We will fellowship, eat, laugh, and enjoy our time together. If you did not sign up at the welcome desk no worries. Just let me know and I will add a seat around the table. Reminder, no van service will be offered and carpooling is recommended. Going to be great day!

We are a week away from our breakfast at Mama Zoe’s, Saturday, June 13th at 9am, 2859 Reynolda Rd, WS. After breakfast we will travel two miles south to Reynolda Gardens. The gardens this time of year are bursting forth with beautiful blooms with a variety of flowers. The gardens are an easy stroll with well-designed walking paths, water features, and lush landscape full of history. I have contacted Reynolda and have requested a private tour of the gardens and will confirm this week. The signup sheet is at the welcome desk for breakfast reservation purposes. No van service will be offered and carpooling is recommended. Going to be great day!

🥰Goodbye May and hello June! I want to share two events for June 2026. First, join me for breakfast at Mama Zoe’s, Saturday, June 13th at 9am, 2859 Reynolda Rd, WS. Their menu is delicious and they have a wonderful breakfast. After breakfast we will travel two miles south to Reynolda Gardens. The gardens this time of year are bursting forth with beautiful blooms with a variety of flowers. No van service will be offered and carpooling is recommended.
Next, once confirmed, we are traveling to Walnut Cove, on Tuesday, June 23rd, 6:30pm, to share a meal at the Milk Bar with our sweet Dianne. The van will be leaving the church at 6pm, but you are welcome to carpool. The sign-up sheet is at the desk for van service and reservations. If you have any questions, let me know. 🌺

Sisters,
I am sending out the menu for Saturday’s brunch from the sign-up sheet. If you are undecided on what to bring or just undecided to attend, bring yourself, a friend, and your goody of choice. You are a welcomed guest around the table. Don’t forget about our Morning Glory Marketplace from 9am-10am in the Freewater Kids Room. The Father has something very special in store for His daughters.

Happy Mother's Day! In one way or another, we have nurtured or been nurtured and loved well by a sister. Let's continue lifting and loving each other well. We are a week away from our All-Daughter's Brunch. The sign-up sheet will be out till Wednesday, May 13th. Don't forget the Morning Glory Marketplace will open at 9:00am in the Freewater Kids room for your shopping pleasure. Please come and support your gifted and talented girlfriends. Going to be a fantastic time and invite a friend or two. As I twist and turn through this odd season, I stand knowing that nothing, I said nothing takes the Father by surprise. I am actually surprised at how steady I am, when just one year ago I would be so overwhelmed. But I have learned to pace myself, prioritize, and rest when my body says rest. Now, I have my moments, lots of them, but God is so good and He has undergirded me with Himself which is all I need. Take heart dear daughter. Your Father is working all things out for your good, your peace, your healing, your joy, your best tomorrow. He always has your best interest at heart. Updates soon about our May and June events. 🌺
