Greetings!
I want to give an update of the wonderful events planned for the remainder of 2026. Save the date and get ready for a season of great eats, fellowship, celebration and time with the Father. There will be more information offered for each event soon.
Thursday, September 24th, 6:30p- Nick’s Old-Fashioned Hamburger House, Lexington, NC. New location opening soon.
Thursday, Oct. 22nd- Saturday, Oct. 24th: Ladies Prayer Retreat at Elk Horn Haven, Woodlawn, VA. Plans are in the making for this special time away to meet with your sisters and the Father. More details to come soon.
Saturday, November 21st, 11:00am, Freewater Church- Hammer and Stain Wooden Door Sign Event: Join Lauren Brown as she leads the way through a great time of holiday crafting. Cost is $55.00 and includes all supplies. Sign up will be soon with beautiful choices to craft. For your tummy pleasure there will be John Brown’s Country Store and Grill’s chicken stew for your enjoyment.
Saturday, December 12th, Freewater Church: Esther’s Jubilee! Plans of great detail are in the making to offer daughters of the King a beautiful experience of celebration, kingdom identity, delicious food and fellowship. Time and details soon.

What a time, what a time, what a time we had at Ms. Mary's and Kat's house! The hospitality, the fellowship, the warmth and the Holy Ghost was so sweet and rich! Lives were changed, hope renewed, and hearts encouraged in His presence. Ms. Frankie did a fantastic job leading us in our foot washing service. Looking forward to many great moments together. 🥰Happy Saturday!
We are one week away from our August Fellowship Gathering at Mary and Kat Leihenseder's home Saturday, August 15th, 10am, 183 Alamos Avenue, Lexington. Carpooling is recommended and the van will be leaving the church at 9:30am for those who wish to park and ride. The Well Women Ministries will provide all paper products and punch. The host home will provide a breakfast casserole, cucumber sandwiches, and a charcuterie board. The sign-up sheet to bring your favorite goody will be at the welcome center till Wednesday, August 12th. Ms. Frankie Smith will be leading our devotion about the beautiful Christian tradition of foot washing. Rooted in the gospel of John, foot washing is an act of mutual love, humility, and service. We will conclude our time together with a foot washing service for those who want to participate and please bring a towel. Afterwards, Wanda’s Place Consignment has extended an invitation to shop, and Ms. Wanda will have cupcakes for us to enjoy. We're going to have a great time together! We are two weeks away from our gathering at Ms. Mary's and Kat's home on Saturday, August 15th. Signup sheet is at the welcome desk.
Save the date, we are heading to Nick's Old-Fashioned Hamburgers in Lexington on Thursday, September 3rd at 6:30pm in hopes they will be in their new location. If not, I will make another plan for great fellowship and food for September.

Make plans to attend our August gathering at Mary and Kat Leihenseder's home Saturday, August 15th, 10am, 183 Alamos Avenue, Lexington. Carpooling is recommended.
