Please join us tomorrow, Sept. 2, for Welcome Back Wednesday, when all ages celebrate our Knollwood community regathering for a new season of being the Church together. After a fellowship dinner from 5:15-6 PM (taco bar this week!), we will hear from students and chaperones about impactful KBC summer experiences at Passport, Montreat Worship & Music, and Inspire. We’ll end the evening with a shared mission project with A Bed and A Book.

Note: There will be no open gym this Wednesday.

About 40 Knollwood youth gathered for the first Youth Choir practice and Sunday Night Youth Group of the new church year. On most Sundays, the youth will now be split into middle school and high school, with a shared dinner. But for this first week (and on subsequent first Sundays of the month), the youth were all together.

About 60 senior adults gathered in the Fellowship Hall on Sunday afternoon for fellowship and to beat the heat at an ice cream social. There were multiple kinds of ice cream (including Knollwood Punch sherbet) and an array of fabulous toppings, including homemade fudge sauce and syrup-covered nuts.
