There's a level of healing where God will challenge you to confront something deeper than the wound, and that's the person the wound is trying to turn you into. Because sometimes the greatest victory isn’t that you survived what they did to you, sometimes it’s that you survived it without becoming them. The betrayal was real, the rejection was real, the abandonment was real, and the disappointment was real. But what happened to you doesn't have the authority to reproduce itself through you. You may have been wounded, but you don’t have to become a wounder. You may have been betrayed, but you don’t have to become a betrayer. You may have been rejected, but you don’t have to reject everyone who tries to love you. You may have been mishandled, but you don’t have to mishandle others. The enemy wants your pain to become your personality, but God wants your pain to become your testimony. There are people who hurt you, and then there's the spirit of what they did that will try to follow you into your next season. However, you're not called to repeat what broke you. You're called to redeem what broke you. So forgive, heal, release, set boundaries, and move forward. Don't become what hurt you. Because the greatest evidence that God healed you isn’t that you no longer remember the pain, it’s that the pain no longer controls you, or who you become. Don’t reproduce what God delivered you from. Don't allow what broke you to become your blueprint.

Remember The Word of God Found In Romans 12:21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

STUBBORNNESS IS NOT A FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

One of the most dangerous things in the Church isn't always open rebellion, it's stubbornness dressed up as spirituality. The Bible doesn't present stubbornness as strength, maturity, or conviction. When stubbornness causes us to reject correction, refuse godly counsel, resist leadership, and insist on having our own way, Scripture connects it with rebellion, pride, disobedience, and idolatry. 1 Samuel 15:23 NKJV says, For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. That's serious. Sometimes we call it, “That’s just how I am.” Sometimes we call it being strong-minded, Sometimes we call it standing our ground. But there is a difference between standing on God’s Word and stubbornly standing in God’s way. Proverbs 12:15 says, The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but he who heeds counsel is wise. Stubbornness says, “I already know.” Stubbornness says, “Nobody can tell me anything.” Stubbornness says “yes” with the mouth while the heart has already decided, “I’m going to do what I want to do.” And sadly, some of the most stubborn people can be religious people. Knowledge without humility can produce pride. We can know Scripture, know church protocol, know tradition, know ministry and still have a heart that refuses correction. Knowledge that doesn't produce humility can become a weapon against obedience. Stubbornness damages churches because stubborn people would rather divide than yield. It damages families because someone would rather be right than reconciled. It damages ministries because leaders who refuse wise counsel eventually become isolated. It causes people to miss opportunities, relationships, growth, and blessings that could have been experienced if they had simply listened and obeyed. A stubborn leader can destroy what generations sacrificed to build. A stubborn member can create unnecessary conflict in a ministry. A stubborn spouse can turn disagreement into division. A stubborn heart can hear God speaking and still refuse to move. Scripture warns us in Hebrews 3:15 Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion. The frightening thing about stubbornness is that after repeatedly refusing correction, your heart can become so hardened that you no longer recognize that you are wrong. You begin calling rebellion “discernment.” You call pride “standards.” You call disloyalty “independence.” You call resistance “conviction.” And eventually, you can become convinced that everybody else is the problem. The Church can't and won't grow where nobody can be corrected. Leadership can't function where everybody wants authority but nobody wants accountability. Unity can't survive where everybody insists on having their own way. Proverbs 11:14 reminds us, “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” Every one of us, pastors, bishops, elders, ministers, deacons, leaders, and members, must periodically ask God: Lord, is there stubbornness in me that I can't see? Am I teachable? Can I receive correction without becoming offended? Can someone tell me I’m wrong? Do I obey only when I agree? Have I allowed my experience, title, education, years in church, or position to make me unteachable? Because sometimes the biggest thing standing between us and what God wants to do next is our refusal to listen. Stubbornness isn't spiritual strength. Humility is. Teachability is. Obedience is. Submission to God is. May God remove every hardened place in our hearts and give us the humility to hear Him, receive wise counsel, make necessary changes, and obey, even when obedience requires us to admit that we were wrong. James 4:6 reminds us: God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Church, we can't ask God for revival while refusing correction. Sometimes before God changes the Church, He has to change us.

They Didn’t Break You, They Revealed You.
What they put you through was meant to destroy you, but instead it revealed the strength, faith, and perseverance God had already placed inside of you. The pressure revealed your prayer life. The betrayal revealed your discernment. The pain revealed your strength. The struggle revealed that you could bend without breaking. You may not be the same person you were before the battle, and that’s okay. You came out wiser, stronger, more prayerful, and more aware of who you are in God. What tried to expose your weakness only revealed God’s strength working through you.
They didn't break you, they revealed the survivor God created you to be!

Remember The Word of God Found In 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed.

IF IRON SHARPENS IRON… WHY ARE YOU HANGING WITH BUTTER KNIVES EXPECTING TO GET SHARP?

Everybody around you can’t sharpen you. Some people will encourage your growth, challenge your thinking, strengthen your faith, and push you toward purpose. Others will keep you comfortable, dull, distracted, and stuck. Pay attention to your circle. You need people around you who will pray for you, correct you, challenge you, and remind you of who God called you to be. Stop choosing company based only on who makes you comfortable. Get around some IRON!

Remember The Word of God Found In Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

Your circle can either sharpen your purpose or dull your potential. Choose wisely.

Bottom Line: STOP ASKING BUTTER KNIVES TO DO AN IRON JOB

IMPOSSIBLE IS GOD’S TERRITORY! What Are You Saying Bishop? What overwhelms you does not intimidate God. He's not limited by your resources, threatened by your opposition, confused by your circumstances, or exhausted by your need. When you reach your limit, God hasn't reached His! So don’t give up because you can’t see a way. The impossible is simply another opportunity for God to show you that He's still able! Keep believing. Keep trusting. Keep expecting. God is bigger than what you’re facing.

Remember The Word of God Found In Matthew 19:26 With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Sometimes it's hard to see God in the midst of chaos and disappointment, but know that God is always moving on your behalf. He's moving in your direction; He's advancing upon your enemies. No need for confrontation, simply watch God move. There are times when God will fight the actual battle through you, other times He will simply tell you to hold your position and do absolutely nothing, and then He will move Himself to completely take out the attacks coming against you. God shows your enemies how powerful and how awesome He really is when He moves into battle to personally protect you. The battles that we fight and the enemies that want to see us fail shall not triumph over you. No need to go back and forth with a defeated foe, just sit back and watch God move. The silence will be deafening, but the results shall speak volumes. Let your enemies make a fool out of themselves with their schemes, plots, and plans, because what the enemy meant for bad shall backfire on them. The enemy thought that they could destroy you, move forward, and then leave you for dead. Don't be discouraged, watch God move. No need to yell and scream, just sit back and observe the works of the Lord. Your situation may seem hopeless, you may feel overwhelmed and alone, however, always remember that God can and will fight our battles and defeat our enemies. When we remove ourselves from the picture and allow Him to work on our behalf. God is a mighty, powerful and awesome God. Keep in mind when victory is accomplished in our lives, it has been God who has done it and not we ourselves. Just Watch God Move!

Remember The Word of God Found In Exodus 14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
