The Calling Church

The Calling Church We, at the Calling, believe God puts a calling on each person's life; it falls on us to answer it. Sunday service is 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

CALLING TO THE COMMUNITY

After the service we alternate Sundays with lunch with the church family and with a needed program called "Calling to the Community." "Calling to the Community" is where we go to Winston Salem or places in the local community in need, pass out meals, hygiene products or maybe lend a hand around the house to families in need. Right now we're working on a bi-weekly schedule

, but our future goals are to create Calling groups that are groups that can go out and provide service to multiple projects in the community.

We are going to start off the new year the right way and the way that Carlton would want us to. We will be serving breakfast tomorrow morning at the Bethesda Center at approximately 920. If you can help us serve it would be greatly appreciated and if you know of anyone who would like to help anytime spread the word. thank you for your continued support and service to God‘s work.

Thank you Carlton Moser for your years of faithful service to the homeless at the Bethesda Center. Thank you for always giving an encouraging word. And thank you for serving your savior. You will be missed. But we will see each other again.
2 Corinthians 5:8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
You are present with the Lord Jesus today.
Ever time I would see him I would say, it’s good to see you. And Carlton would always tell me it’s good to be seen. Well today he is seen face to face by his Lord and Savior, where we all hope to be one day.

God has blessed us with the opportunity and a calling to serve the people at the Bethesda Center for the homeless for six years now. And almost every Sunday morning for the last six years we prepare breakfast for anywhere from 80 to 120 people. Well last week because of the coronavirus we took a break. And this week I thought well since everything is going on we might need to take another break. But this morning when I got up the Lord put it heavy on my heart that the homeless are still hungry and dedication and perseverance in Jesus‘s name is the testimony He wants for us in this ministry. So in the picture you see 100 sausage biscuits. So pray for continued blessings for those in homelessness at the Bethesda Center and that these biscuits would bless them. God bless you as well. Thanks to the calling church ministry families and all those involved for allowing this to happen.

We are still feeding spirits and stomachs at the Bethesda Center for the homeless in Winston Salem every Sunday morning at 9. We have been together for over three years now and God has truly blessed us to serve in Jesus name. Jaret Mcbryde
